If we arn't on our game Newcastle will kill us, even without their star players, they pushed Roosters in a trial with second string players and roosters where at practical full strength.

I think we need to be on our game fo sure.

I actually asked Trent Waterhouse last night if the team had made any sort of pact
to try to send Bangers out on a massive high with another trophy, and he said yep,
they were going to try their best.

And I said wouldn't it be the best thing in the world to be able to go back to back
when the Roosters couldn't do it? THAT would stick their fluke theory up their noses
wouldn't it?

He did a big smile. looked at Bangers and they both said "YEP....YOU BET"
Ya gotta love 'em don't ya?

I can't wait for next Friday night...........I'm even MORE pumped now........if that's at all possible..

Awww i love Trent! I remember visiting him in the fan zone at World 7's in 2003 before anyone outside of Penrith knew him. He had a bag of ice on his bi-cep and a grin that ended at each ear. There were a bunch of kids behind me whilst i was with him chatting about the previous game he had and one of the tries that he scored, they were concerned about his arm because he pretty much was one of the star players on the side that day - I swear his grin got broader whilst replying with a - `corked it mate'.
I winked at the young boys and said he would be fine tomorrow and he winked also and said `too right i will' or something similar.

I still remember one of his tries vividly because at the time i was being phoned by Rob Weaver every few minutes to get updates on the first game they had as he was trapped in traffic with Shane Richardson. I was giving off the score at the time and giving a running commentary of Trent running up the sideline to score! And trying not to scream excitedly

I honestly cannot see a lot of our boys letting the success of last year get to them. Their enthusiasm is just raw...i love it. It's magic.

Oh yeah! Skill will get you to a certain point, but if you have that enthusiasm to get the job done, the sky is the limit! 8)
