Not sure why anyone is scared of the Sharks. This and round 2 are a training run for when our season kicks off in round 3.

That is my major concern. No trials for our main players. Lack of match fitness, Several of our key players racing to be fit. New combos to gel. We always start slow and usually underwhelming.
Throw in the Vegas shitshow. Both games this week are 50:50.

Just looked at last years stats the Sharks had 14 players who played 20 or more FG games PLUS AFB. Penrith had 6. We are overdue for a better run with injuries the Sharks will get more injuries this year.

Not to worried about rd 1 tbh. A win would be nice but new combos, no trials..players out and in vegas...

A loss isn't the end of the world.

Sharks will be fired up as weve hurt the bad over the last few years..

Just want to get through the 80 with no injuries and a half decent showing.

If we win great. If we get a score put on us i womt be to concerned.

Injuries are part of the game, they will happen, it would be nice to have some good fortune on the injury front and no huge season ending ones such as ACL’s etc particularly to our key players.

it will be interesting to see how this game plays out given a less than ideal preparation, players returning from off season surgeries, player losses etc.

Four members of my immediate family are in Vegas for the game so if nothing else I hope we win it for them they are so pumped having a great time in the lead up. Enjoying all there photos, making me a bit envious in some respects.
