I suspect Ayshford might actually be something decent for us (perhaps ending up as a bench player covering backrow+backline), but he's suuuuper unlikely to start. For one thing, he's on a second-tier contract - that should tell you where he is starting from in the pecking order. For another, Cappy seems to love Kata, and there are too many guys in the mix for the other 2 outside back spots.. I'd love Fusitua, but Cappy apparently doesn't rate him as much - but also Konny, Lolohea and even guys who won't clearly start in front of him but are chances to outperform in preseason like Wright, Niukore, Maumalo, Allwood, Wells & Nicoll-Klokstad.
I'd put good money on Robson/Johnson halves, but would be surprised if Cappy takes the 7 jersey away from Johnson... he's going to be playing lots of first receiver anyway (look at the Kiwis and substitute Robson into Foran's background role). Vete is near certain to be in the team, and Ali might not get a single game in the year, let alone start it. Lisone a good possibility to snag a bench spot with a good preseason, Sao is no certainty. Would love RFM but realistically Cappy will go with Henry.
