Not sure what to make of that half. Dogs pumped in defence, we looked good at times with the ball but hit and miss in defence. Like to see Lids on soon. One short on the bench now will make it tougher

I'm not expecting to win. Bulldogs are a couple of years ahead with the rebuild. I think we didn't do too bad to hold them for as long as we did. I don't think that third try of theirs should have been scored - that foot definitely looked like it was on the line.

3 times we've stripped them on the edges and dropped the ball every time. A lot of blown opportunities in attack. Need to hit and stick in defence. However, gotta say it's refreshing seeing our edges create overlaps now that we have more threats in the side.

Scoreboard aside, it was very exciting start to the game, took me back 30 years to those bitter rivalries of the 90s at Kogarah.

It's the year of question marks no matter what. We all have our doubts (and hopes) of these new players but I think we should give them a real bit of time and support before we start bagging them.

What's not a question mark is our forward pack. That's an exclamation mark! The coach knows it's not good enough for games such as this. Francis Molo hang your head in shame you traitorous wretch.
