After a week off to freshen up, the boys get to tackle the Warriors who themselves have been going pretty good in the last month or so. Should be an epic encounter.

Warriors with 3 on the trot and have always proven to be a hard task for us but i'm predicting we kick our 'soft' run home with a big win here with the warriors having a let down.

Their pack is scary big but we have beaten sides with much better packs this year (see Cronulla and Canberra)

If we can hold them out wide we will run them ragged in the back end of both halves

I'll give you guys a reason I'm worried about this game..

In the past when there has been a game for Mullen to seal the deal on origin selection he has miserably failed, so if history is anything to go by, this is a worry.

But I believe he has truly turned the corner this year, so we should be competitive at least.

Warriors are coming good and this will be a good test for us to see where we stand.

Yep for all the reasons above, should be a cracker...not 100% sure who to tip but certainly confident enough to tip us this week :)

Weather should be pretty tops too, perfect for our first home game with the new memberships!

Also, re: Henry

Stone said Henry, who tore ankle ligaments against Manly on March 27, had a cortisone injection on Monday and was more likely to return against the Roosters.

I think Mullen will have a big one. He played real well in CvC so I'm hoping he'll follow that up with: 1 40/20, 2 try assits and a try himself.

Nice thinking Yosh but the boys will be in for a tough encounter against the Warriors, they've got a mean forward pack and their outside backs know how to find the line. I can only hope Aku will contain the Beast because Junior Burger sure as heck won't be able to stop him if he breaks the line.

It would be better if we saw the 60 point margin in the last regular home game for the season. Then we'll party like it's 1999.

using de gois off bench is a smart move let him run rings round their tired forward pack last 10-15 minutes of each half

Warriors have a lot of big men who can roll up the ruck, two second rowers in the centres and of course Manu. They'll be making monstrous metres all afternoon.

Whether Mullen can control the territory with his boot and whether we can defend inside from inside own our half for much of the game will be the deciding factors imo.

Plus Cleary has taken the mistake ridden one from fullback and put him on the bench. Smart move and it makes it a little harder to get cheap field position without him dropping the ball early on. The Warriors have backrowers coming out of their yin yang.

Much like we should have done against Melbourne, but didn't, I'd suggest turning them around whenever possible. Waiting til tackle 5 for a kick is asking for trouble ...

Dude it's our forum poll. If you don't like it don't come in here. We routinely come up with derogatary names for our weekly opponents and often enough get a rise out of their supporters. You've delivered for this week.
