I would chuck out Kk put in Carty
Chuck out Guymer, put in Matto
Carty won't be picked in NRL season this year, unless there is a massive injury toll! He won't be here next year.

I doubt KK is going to be dropped, Ryles has stuck with him from the beginning, he is hardly going to drop him when he is improving each week.

Matterson, yeah I wouId pick. Actually wouId start him at lock, Hopgood hooker. But I think we are pushing him out, so doubt he will be picked anytime soon. Agree or not, it gives Guymer valuable NRL time, to develop into the solid NRL player he will become!

Oh god - another week, another game/potential beating...

Russell's been playing well, he stays until Lomax is back and there's a backline choice to be made (which could go either way between Penisini, Simonssen or Russell as to who gets left out).

Predicting same list today as our match day side last week - except with Samrani named to start instead of Kautoga, and either Matterson or Latu named in that bench spot (with Latu to be there on match day, if he's named among the #18-#22 reserves jerseys).

This won't happen because we need a goal kicker and it seems Moses isn't fit enough to take that risk but...

1. Iongi
2. Ado-Carr
3. Penisini
4. Simmonson
5. Dunster
6. Brown
7. Moses

Do we think with Gutho gone, and scarce leaders, we probably want our captain being in the huddle after we score a try. Plus he is our main kicker in general play. If goal kicking is a risk not sure he should be booting the crap of the ball deep in our own end a few times per game, let alone skyrocketing bombs.

Think Moses days as primary goal kicker are done at the eels IMO, lot on his plate.

yeah i get the JR perception of things. I just think he would help us win more than who is playing now.

I've lost my love for Guymer. He should be the one who moulds into the hooker/benchie forward, otherwise, I wouldn't have him in my team. His running game doesn't suit edge or middle, his tackling suits hooker and leading the line speed

Maybe I was dreaming... thinking Kautoga copped a charge/suspension and wouldn't be available? But maybe I'm confusing him with Kelma still unavailable.

So yes (sadly) I don't see Ryles dropping his favoured Kautoga to the bench for Samrani this week. But he has chopped and changed and dropped Guymer a bit... so maybe that's how Latu gets into the match day 17 (if named in a reserves NRL jersey today).

When we got it back to 22-18 on Friday night.

It was discussed at the ground for a fleeting moment.

If say JAC scored in the corner to tie the game up in the last 10 mins at 22-all.

Who was taking the goal kicking then Russell or Moses.

Surely Moses is the one taking the kick to get into the lead in that situation.

Do we trust Russell to take a clutch kick with the game on the line.

He did kick one from the sideline vs tigers to get us 10 or 12 ahead (I think)?

Maybe for a pressure kick? But Lomax back soon, so he takes them all
