Round 10 TLT: Eels v Dolphins

Hmm, pretty much copy and paste... if you count Doorey's return to the NRL bench (this week in place of Tuivaiti).

In Ryles style, I don't expect anyone named #18-#22 to come into play when the squad is trimmed ahead of match day, unless there is an unexpected injury.

Dolphins by... 10.

So we just continue to pay Shaun Lane his full wage to just sit at home and do f**k all?
Lane's not doing f**k all... he's carefully considering whether or not he has a future in the game!

erase tv land GIF by nobodies.

When was the last time you tipped Parra.

I am curious just that you back the opposition every week no matter if were $1.10 favourites or $10 outsiders.

Surely once every now and then you can go into a game expecting a win.

I don't keep track of my weekly tips, would have to look back... but I think I tipped us to beat Tigers on Easter Monday (saying that would be our first win in the first win thread)? So I was only out by one other result before that.

Looking ahead, I think we'll pick up more wins in the second half of the season than the first... but if Moses is picked on the bench or #18 for Origin that might bring us unstuck in a few matches.

I think this week is a very winnable game.

Honestly ill judge our current setup more on this week close to full strength at home against a team that has won 1 game in sydney in 2 and half years of there existance

Then the Darwin game depleted or a trip to Melbourne.

This is more of a yard stick game of where we see where Ryles and the staff have the side at.

Dolphins by... 10.
Sharks #22 played,
Raiders #22 played
Dragons #19 played,
Manly #18 and 19 played,
Dogs #22 and 21 played,
Storm #21 played

So out of 8 games this, Ryles has named a player #18-22, 6 times....

Does it really matter? It's not coming out of our pockets. It's a matter between Lane and the Club, none of our business. We have no idea of the demons he may be wrestling with.

I'm happy with the changes under Ryles, happy with where things are heading for the future.

Just think the squad this year is still short two (decent) edge forwards - not Ryles' fault. And then the first choice team just needs about four weeks with the same line-up all available to hit their straps as good as they can for this season.

But weren't all of those due to late injury? Rather than the #1-#17 player being dropped or demoted to Cup...

I know Doorey played Cup last week, but I suspect that was due to a late decision on return from injury confidence etc.

We’re favourites and I don’t particularly know why tbh…

the dolphins team this week is stronger than the one that put 40 on the storm 3 weeks ago.

Tuivati is a big loss, strange to say for a rookie, but the bigger body coming on for junior I think was working well. Guymer is lucky our second row stocks are so poor.

I have everything crossed we get a win, but I was almost more confident vs the sharks tbh
