Run home - Broncos, BYE, Knights, Dolphins, Sharks, Eels, Raiders, Roosters, Bulldogs, Cowboys, Raiders, Sharks, Warriors, Rabbitohs, Manly, Penrith. I can see us winning maybe 3 - 4 of these games the way we are playing and thats being generous. Season has been a disaster and it could get so much worse.

A question was asked yesterday about the Assistant coach addressing the side at half time , Is it the norm ?
In our Case DY giving the half time chat
Watching the panthers cowboys clash later on , The Panthers assistant Ben Gardiner did just that With Ivan looking on..
When Mal was in charge of the Maroons in Origin , Neil Henry regularly did the half time speech
Might seem unusual but it does go on
Someones got to give the boys direction
Much improved second half

Watched high lights of the tries this morning kyle flanagan has his hands on knees on every try scored against us . Doesn't compete for the ball and always gets targeted in defence
you only have to watch the dynamic 5/8s like munster, brown, nilkorima, dearden, brooks etc. bring to their game and their team's attack unfortunately for us our 6 is a step down in grade and we can't close out a game for want of a more dynamic and agile 6 to control and direct attacking plays.

Just wanted to comment on Sloan being left on the field with only one arm working ?? (personally, I don't want him out their at any time)
And then, they kick to his wing ??? not once, but twice ???? beggars belief ???
Who were you replacing him with for the bulk of the game after he was injured? Sometimes coaches need to leave players out there even if they’re not 100%. Wing is not an easy position to substitute in the modern game.

I think the Warriors simply did not come out the second half and the embarrassing thing is they still won. Saints were terrible in the first half. They improved the 2nd but were still poor overall. The halves are the most crucial spots and Saints have 1 young kid and the other selected purely because of the coaches son. LKT has to stay on. I would like to see LKT move to 6 and Illias to 7 to see how that goes. Maybe they can make Kyle Flanno into a Cam Murray style Lock. I think that is his only hope unless he aits a couple of years and takes Cooks spot when he eventually retired. He seriously looks awkward when he kicks, no a good trait for a half.

Lets see what Flanno does this week.

I would like to see how Illias and LKT go together but Kyle couldn't tie Murray's bootlaces he is no where near that quality of player and never will be. He should be in reserve grade but like you said as long as Flanno is our coach Kyle is safe as houses and thats not right if you ask me. Everyone is noticing it now and it can't be denied that nepotism is at work here

1. Gutho 6. LKT 7. Illias 9. Liddle 14. Cook. I don't understand why Flanno can't just try this spine our season is already cooked. Can't have Kyle playing reserves though can he

Strike and energy. He brings something that every team needs enthusiasm
CT 's presence is just a danger. Teams know he is lethal within 15m of the line so they mark up on him and opportunities open inside of him as well. As much as im happy to see Corey Allan back playing he would be better suited in centres for mine, injury has sapped a lot of his speed.
