Thumb would be too hard. NFL drafted a guy with only one hand if you limit the passes too him. An index finger taped to the middle finger is fine it is just the pain

I stand corrected.

There was some good news for the Panthers with Merrin's surgery on Sunday revealing a clean dislocation of his finger rather than a more complicated fracture, fuelling optimism his stint on the sidelines may be much shorter than expected.
