Panthers coach Anthony Griffin has named his side to face Newcastle Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium on Friday.

Trent Merrin is a late inclusion after receiving clearance to return to training following surgery on a compound dislocation of his finger.

Jarome Luai is set to make his NRL debut as Panther No.579 after being named on the bench.

Yep unless they want the impact of Kikau from the bench. Either way we win this pretty easy, the Knights have a gun fullback and literally nothing else

I look at it the other way. I think it is the ideal time to blood him. Either way I certainly agree the 1-17 side named is unlikely to be the 17 which play on Friday night.
