Our NSW Cup boys arent playing great. But these earlier games are a reminder that Warriors struggle to travel.

Im not confident in a win... but I find it hard to see Warriors winning. So really we shouldn't need to be that good to snatch a win.

We miss mopre tackles than any other team, so lets drop the bloke who hasn't missed one in the last 3 games. Righto.

Exactly.

1 missed tackle in 4 games, 0 errors, 0 penalties conceded.

If all our forwards produced that we wouldn't be getting rolled week after week.

Broncos: 18 tackles (0 missed) in 19 minutes.
Eels 17 tackles (0 missed) in 32 minutes
Sharks: 30 tackles (0 missed) in 38 minutes.

He makes tackles without missing them. That's what he offers the side.

He and Tamou at least hold on to the majority of their tackles.

When you look at the missed tackles from Merrin, RCG and co you can see why Griffin wants Browne in the team.

Though its at the expense of players like Kikau and CHN who have played well for us in first grade this year. Matagi and Latu were absolute bulldozers for us in 2016. Matagi is gone and Latu isn't the same. There is no fear factor in our forward pack.

If all our forwards were that soft we would get smashed 50+ every week.

You cant win if your pack gets destroyed on both sides of the ball.

Kikau misses tackles. But he breaks tackles. Creates space. Forces errors. Carries players after contact. And hurts guys when he hits them.

Thats why we are getting smashed by more with Browne in the team. It softens our side. It makes it less threatening. We have nobody in the NRL side who does that without Kikau and Akauolo.

Looking at the Warriors side. Never heard of a couple of them. Gives me confidence.

No idea who their winger in 22 is. No sure who their #21 on the bench is either. They might be weapons. But I hope they are just average fringe first graders.

But this game is certainly winnable. A few inexperienced blokes for Warriors. Us at home. Them away. Season on the line. It would probably be our worst effort of the year to lose this. I also think all our rep players should bring confidence back. Most were either in winning teams or had strong personal performances.

Panthers by 12. If we lose this then even the Knights might beat us next week.

So why is Latu getting a free ride?

Browne has him covered for metres gained, tackles, missed tackles, errors, penalties, offloads.

If Browne gets dropped, Latu should be right behind him.

Latu sneaks under the radar just about every game these days. Frank Puletua must be so disappointed.

Latu and Merrin both have been down on form. But they add another dimension to our attack that Browne doesnt have.

That said I would prefer Kikau or Akauolo over any of them in current form. Latu though was great last week for his country... hoping he brings it back.

But right now our pack is soft. Yeo must have made more metres after contact than all of our front row today combined.

Latus gone backwards big time this season. I'd be fine with him having a spell.

The one thing Brownes done that's stood out for me was the Moga try against the Broncos. Took an age to get up after talking Milford which left a huge hold in our line. Of course it doesn't show up in a missed tackle statistic.
