Its a professional sport and part of being a fan involves bagging players when they play shit, loving great players and having an interest in team selections and giving criticism. Do you think the players give a toss what us plebs say on a forum. Stop taking it personally.

Who's coming in for Copley

Kahu to centre, Maranta to fullback, Oates to wing, Whitchurch to the bench.

'Tis a terrible side.

Oates getting plenty of gametime in the forwards was one of the reasons I was excited for this game... Now... blurgh. This might be as terrible as the Wests v Cowboys game but more one sided.

Let's not forget that the spine is still in tact - Milford, Hunt and McCullough.

Having said that, a win will still be a bonus.

Great second half comeback started by Kahu busting the line from the kick off.

Bloody valuable 2 points

Awesome stuff. Don't think we'll go too far in the finals without Hunt fixing up his kicking game.

What happened to Kodi? Missed that bit of the game

Okay all you naysayers out there! :) Gotta say I had my doubts prematch.

Great second half. Thought we were shot after the first. Watched this online in sh*tty resolution and missed the first 8 minutes of the second. Got a pleasant shock we were already in front, and then didn't look back. Milford had a blinder second half but a load of guys put their hands up. Great to get a win and gotta love the Oates steam roller barrage over Gagai to score.
Roll on Origin.

Great to see future leaders of the club stepping up and being able to convincingly win minus Origin players - first time that has happened in a while.

3. Milford - was there any doubt? Finding a good mix of running and ball playing, really keeps defences second guessing (Matautia will have nightmares). His attacking game will continue to improve with Boyd providing another link.
2. McCullough - near faultless I thought (perhaps could have done more to stop Sims crashing over, but Blair made soft initial contact) and a great captain's game. His kicks found space, he timed his runs well and was busy in defence as per usual. His kick into the in goal and then second effort to hold up Gagai set up our repeat set which started our comeback.
1. Kahu - proving to be more skillful than I thought he was... great step but is capable of running hard and straight when need be.

Hunt had a strong first half but struggled to find space in the second half. Maranta had one of his stronger games. Vidot's runs were quite handy, it's a shame he dropped that ball in the back end of the game.

One of those rare matches where a team won with a badly beaten forward pack. I guess they deserve credit for sticking it out.

In the presser Wayne said Nikorima done a medial ligament, low grade, out for 3-4 weeks.

Think Parcell would be a better fit than Taylor. Kodi's position has been giving McC a rest at hooker, and I don't think Taylor would be as good there.

Jayden should have been playing Intrust Super Cup instead of 20s this year

will they use taylor to show he has a future at the club?

great effort form the boys. after being bashed in the first half they blasted the knights in the 2nd. milford showed why we bought him, and i think some of the "lesser" players like kahu and maranta really stood up. i know people on here like bagging maranta but he's been consistently good this year. he's not flash but he gets the job done -reminds me of boyd when he was a winger here. i never understood what the fuss has been about kahu but this year when he's finally been able to put some games together i can see what he offers. will be interesting to see if we retain here past this yera and where he plays, cos if hodgo stays he might be on the wing

I read something that said Bennett would be trying to include Taylor in the top 17 at some stage because he wants to keep him at the club so I wouldn't be surprised if he plays him.

It's a catch 22 though because Taylor is potentially better than Hunt, but Hunt is developing pretty well for his second full season as starting halfback and is becoming a proven match winner.
