Hull 44 - 6 St Helens Att: 10,862
Leigh 4 - 60 Leeds Att: 5,000 (?)
Salford 0 - 58 Bradford Att: 4,102
Huddersfield 34 - 24 London Att: 3,618
Warrington 28 - 22 Wigan Att: 12,790
Wakefield 34 - 47 Widnes Att: 3,822

Hull were very impressive, Jamie Thackaray in particular. Saints looked totally oblivious to the match going on around them. Serious questions need to be asked of the players attitude tonight. Protest mode?

Too many good players at Saints for them to go down the pan but I can't believe they dropped James Roby who has been fantastic at #6
I'd like to see them get Chris Anderson as coach, i think he would be a better bet than Daniel Anderson.

Saints two weeks ago had arguably the best team in the competition. Our attack was clinical, our defense mean when it mattered. The team spirit was magnificent and everything pointed to us pushing Leeds to the wire.

Just one decision later we are smashed by Hull and the team spirit and effort is reminisent of the pub football team that hasn't won a game all season.

Yeah, Hull were impressive and Saints were poor, but it's only one game and I think Saints players will pull through it all?

Sure you'd feel better if it had have been a close game, or Saints had been competitive. But they shouldn't drop many against the teams of a lesser class, so should still comfortably make the finals....

Good wins by Huddersfield and Warrington though, got a feeling they'll both make the 6. Whats going with London and Wakey? they both looked the goods at the start of the season but are both falling apart

Weasels, London is an ordinary side with little creativity or flair. Early season, after talking up their new NRL rejects, they flattered to deceive, beating Wire in the first game and then stuffing two poor sides (Wakey by 70+ and Widnes by 60+), all at home. Other than that they haven't won a thing.

Wakey is just a poor side. They sold their best player, Ellis, and brought in Jules O'Neill.

The relegation battle is now between London, Wakey, Widnes and Leigh. In my book, Widnes are odd-on to go and Leigh have a better than evens chance of another season in ESL.

Good point about O'Neill, he's not fit to shine Gareth Ellis' boots...

It will be interetsing for sure. Leigh have been improving, and are no longer dead certs to be in the final two. But, even though London has been poor overall, I can't see the league happily letting them get relegated if it comes to that?

I'm tipping Leigh & Wakey to go down but London will have to improve or else it could be them.

I really think that Widnes have a bit of life left in them yet and can get enough wins up
