Flano passes instead of running straight big gap there .
Then Couchman makes metres but runs away from gap also.
Then Luc f**ks it up with a 3 man overlap.
Then Manly Score after ht.
That went along way to us losing.

Part of the issue is that the fan base get far too carried away with a few results and then get the cart well and truly in front of the horse.

Hunt is still a shithouse 7.
Sloan is still a very week 1.
Leilua is still an arm grabbing piss poor tackler.
Feagai's are still slow.
Mud guts Lawrie is still an ineffective turtle.
Bench selection is still poor.
Captain selection is still poor.
Defence is still poor.

At a moment in a game the above can seem to be non existent and but the sad reality is that it is the reality of the team we are.

We have had a few flat track bully moments and it is misconstrued into the notion we are much better than what we are.

Our worst moments are deplorable and deeply entrenched and unfortunately they sit just below our best moments which is a very thin veneer exterior.

Scratch the surface or put a dent in it and mediocrity just oozes out every where.

To think S F still wants to extend Hunt and dick about with J D B is beyond comprehension.

Least of our problems? 7.5m/run and put on his back everytime. He massively impacts go forward. It's one of our main problems. Don't worry Ben is shit too.

Can't win 'em all. It was pretty much like the Bulldogs game except this time we did it against a team with no bench. Just lazy considering we have the bye next week

Agree with this 1 thousand %. He is a love child of someone’s in management and I hate to think it’s SF as is jack burd. The sooner these two are released the better.

True but really Hunt is the one on the bucks to get us home,that’s what an elite player does
For Queensland he does his 30 plus minute cameo from hooker and can put on the winning play when he is amongst other top notch players
He just can’t take control of a game like a DCE which is what we need and pay him for.
Marschke would have controlled that game far better

Just on my way home from the game, disappointing result. We made too many errors and left points out there with some dumb options. Ben’s kicking game was off.
Manly deserved to win, they had more speed out wide and DCE took control.
Good vibes at Brooky though, plenty of dragons fans went out to support, onto next round.

There is no excuse for the mediocrity that this clueless coach has continued to instill on the playing group.

Manly also played pretty well at home even with the injuries. We really missed Suli where they killed us all day. We are not at top 8 level yet, but in 2025 it may be a different story.
