His place in the Sharks side will be taken by Braydon Trindall, the young half back set to play his second NRL game.

The Sharks will be without Shaun Johnson for tonight’s clash with the table-topping Panthers due to the groin injury which saw him replaced late in his team's win over Titans.

His place in the Sharks side will be taken by Braydon Trindall, the young half back set to play his second NRL game.

No surprise. Groin injuries aren't called nagging for nothing, and SJ is no stranger to them. The boys need to run at Moyza.

Shame. We need a few tune ups in the run in. Last week was tough but we need to be challenged and forced to win the game. Unless Moylan goes nuts on us I just can’t see where the points come from against our defence.

So glad for Sauce. He’s slowed down massively and isn’t the force he used to be but as Cleary said, he changed this club and is the only guy that’s been a part of that transformation throughout. Shiny toys aside, he’s my favourite Panther of the last decade for sure. Legend and incredible bloke.
