Why? So he can play for 2 minutes and get stretched off again, i reckon he needs to earn his spot back from martin, then any of the benchies, at least wait for an injury in the forwards before sliding back in, i feel we've played well without him, and him being a buy this year shouldn't have a bearing on that, regardless of his origin status
Capes is a strong experience player who did well out wide in the games he played. You can tell he oozes class when he gets the ball in his hands. The coaching squad will no doubt have him slotting right back in the team.

Capewell was on the fringe of playing Origin last year (granted not on the Blues depth chart). There should be some chances to rest forwards in the last couple games before the finals so we should at least give him a few games off the bench. Ivan can figure out the best 17 from there.

The new crusher crackdown may as well be designed for Arron Woods.
He backs into every tackle, drops and stays down.
Hopefully we don’t see more players milking it,
and if we do then they should get ten in the bin.
Meh. If we lose anyone for a crusher I will just look at it as the NRL freshening them up for finals.

It is a joke though that accidental crusher caused by the attacking player backing into the tackles could result in not only a bullshit penalty, but a suspension too. Some teamsls play for those penalties. The 'hurt' player jumps to his feet for a quick tap or gets up smiling.

I think this is a massive game for both clubs.

We’re playing OK but are yet to make a statement heading into the finals. We’ve had a few disruptions the last few weeks and we should aim to put a big score on the sharks.

Melbourne are going about their business, finding ways to win. We did the same last week. I want to see our backline do more with the ball given how well the forwards are laying a platform.
