Massive win tonight, after losing 2 of our quick men..

We may have witnessed history tonight..Boyd Cordner's only successfull goal kick of his career..He's no Crock with the boot..

Anyway Boyd was absolutely enormous tonight..he was Bradley Clyde like..again..He was my equal MOM..

$BW keeps doing that voodoo that he does soo well..He is our new Freddy..It's the ultimate luxury we can play him in a running & passing role..He's a nightmare to defend..

Jake keeps improving, & was outstanding tonight..A repeat set & that try was really smart hooker play..He is becoming the player we all hoped he would..

JWH was JWH..He is a monster..one of the true Alpha males of the comp..He is my favourite rooster & it was a pleasure to see him back dominating..

I thought SKD was solid again tonight..except of course his SKDumd special when Watmough knocked the ball out of his hands when he was in the clear..He shut Matai down all night..His pass for Sheck's try was a pleasant surprise too..

Guerra's try saver on half time deserves a special mention..he was solid,& made a couple of nice runs..

Mini was his usual self..mistake free, & the magic catch he took saved a certain try..

Maubs keeps on flying under the radar..His run the play before was instrumental in Jenko's try..He's cover defence on Matai when Sheck went off hurt was good too..

LOD keeps steaming onto the ball and making thee tough yards..He is a lunatic, but i'm glad he's our lunatic..

Pretty much agree with all Horrie is God said. Won't mention my thoughts on the refs or my post will be binned and I'll get banned :lol:

We were down to 15 players and it's just another character building win.

I thought SKD was pretty good though. Had his dumb carry that he always does but they continually ran at him all night looking for the isolation or the usual run out and miss overlap and he gave them nothing.

Jake Friend was my MOTM what a wonderful try he scored and the brilliant tackling he did again and again. Beautiful kick for a repeat set.

The score only flattered Manly because we kicked 1/5 but should have scored another 2.

I reckon SBW will do a Jennings after 2 breaks and not converting the try he'll just go himself next time.

What pleases me about this year is you can put our wins solely down to SBW or any 1 player. It takes a team to defend with the will and determination we do.

Only displeasing thing is the piss weak beer is really terrible when you haven't had a dozen warm up beers at the Paddo Inn :lol:
