That was a win I was convinced we were never going to get. At least we knew the expected 2nd half fade was down to loss of troops. Now the really tough draw begins where wins will be really hard to get.

We have two captains, a halfback, and none of them can think. We need someone who knows how or when to close out a game.

A mix of courage, just plain dumb footy and poor game management from us tonight.

Delighted to have the 2 points and no heart break but the even more so, we move further away from the spoon.

I understand that JDB was a goose a few years ago and hurt the club but he genuinely has pride in our jumper and gives 100%. He deserved another year with us and not to be humbled.

I hope to be proved wrong but I fear that tonight is the crest of the remainder of the 2025 season for us.

I was impressed by Fifita today.
Jdb wears his heart on his sleeve.
Sad to see him go.
