Is Madge being too nice by allowing Tyrrell to play his 150th game? Clark, Rochow, Cherrington, Greinke made more tackles and made meters than Tyrrell all season. Or is Madge punishing Turner for dropping 1 ball? Am I missing something here?

I'm struggling to see it as well. The only reason i could think of picking tyrrell is to tighten the defence in the middle for the start of the game, which was atrocious to begin our last game. If George will only run 12m then why not just pick tyrrell in his place and have a good defender.

But you could just as easily tighten the defence with Turner or Clark, both who are better runners then tyrrell.

I have the feeling that this won't be our final 17.

I wouldnt have picked George after his last suspension and his play so far has shown nothing to indicate he would be back in the team yet. He's lucky not to be wearing red and black.

Burns on the wing makes me nervous. His very bad game under the high ball was against the Panthers. Gray is fairly good under the high ball, so I'd prefer Burns at right centre and Gray on the right wing.

I'm not confident with the 2 hooker thing. The team gets used to one hooker and then when the other hooker takes over it seems the team takes a while to get used to that hooker. I believe Madge needs to go with one hooker and I'm leaning towards Cook because of his extra acceleration and speed and because I believe that Farah often tries to do too much which means our halves (especially Reynolds) don't get as much control. Farah would be a good backup hooker though.

David Tyrrell being selected in front of Cherrington, Rochow, and even Turner surprises me!

Yea like many of you, I'm not too sure about Tyrrell starting. I'd pick Rochow, Cherrington and Turner ahead of him.

Surely this isn't the final line up.

If it is though I hope Dave goes well.

On another note, if George does play he'd better be better. If playing his 100th game won't fire him up, nothing will.

George is a bloke who looks like he prefers the weight training over the fitness training. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he bludges the fitness. Typical NFL player.
