Scrappy game guys, but a good one . Well played. Could have gone either way the whole game.

Where did you find that Aiton? He looks the goods.

Ation is from PNG via QLD been at Penrith for a few years now.

The score may have been close but IMO we were thorougly outplayed for the most part in particular in defence we look more like turnstyles than rugby league players

I thought Penrith put in an effort. It would have been nice to win it though with quite a few players missing.

Is there anyone on the Warriors side that you would have Preston Campbell marking? :D

I tell you what Aiton would have made some tackles last night! He certainly puts his body on the line without any fear for a little fella.

Aiton has been a breathe of fresh air to the team.

Its time to give Moors his chance. I know people will go blah blah blah hands like feet blah blah blah can't tackle....Well sorry but Frank Pritchard has both of those sh*tty attributes and displays them with pride every week. Its time to see if Moors is up to the pace of NRL. Give the kid a go.

I'm gonna give credit to Lee Hookey as well. Now everyone here knows I don't rate the guy, but he did a bundle of work last night and it appears he is working tirelessly on his defence. As long as he is on the wing next year I wouldn't mind him being retained. I just have issues with him as a centre. When he played wing the first two rounds...went well.

Also...Did we not utilise Danny Galea at all last night? NRL Stats said Danny Galea...1 hitup, 11 metres...that was the one where he scored his try. He didn't see any ball the rest of the night. Our gameplan is ridiculous. I'd love a month to coach this team...at least we'd see some kicks and bodies in motion. Bet we'd win a bloody game as well.

I agree about Hookeys performance last night. I did see him miss a few tackles but compared to what I saw from some others he was reasonably solid.

I don't remember Frank making any errors last night but then again I as per usual he didn't really inject himself enough.

As for our gameplan, well the longer this season goes on the more and more it is looking like a stroke of genius to have signed elliot. And thats not meant with any disrespect to Lang but he just has not been able to address the problems we have.

According to the Footy Show he had surgery here today, and it's looking like a couple of weeks.

Problem with Frank is that he only knows how to put on the big hit. Put a little step on him and your through...

Was it him Ropati went through from dummy half? I thought it was.

That Aiton is something a little bit special. He was working the Warriors over all night long.

On Galea, I only counted Rooney touching the ball 3 times. I thought it was outlandish how poorly a guy like Luke Rooney was used. He used to heavily cart the ball forward - is he not trying to get involved enough anymore?

I got this from the official penrith site.

Jul 02 - Luke Lewis has had an operation on his injured hand in New Zealand.

He sustained a compound fracture to a finger during last night's game against the Warriors and was unable to continue.

The team returned to Sydney this afternoon.

"Luke had an operation on his hand in Auckland this morning," Penrith's Rugby League General Manager Mick Leary, said this evening. "He should be right to play again in two or three weeks."

i watched the game again...and I get more and more embarrased.

Wiki was standing still...Frank went for him and couldn't even tackle him...even more embarrasing...Wiki was steaming onto a ball the next set of 6 and gordon took him down.

Can someone please tell me...are we the leading team in tries scored against us from Intercepts?

We played dumb footy, pure and simple. At the end, we did not deserve to be within 6 points of them - the Warriors were all over us in attack, and we had nothing. We missed Gower big time.

Aiton just continues to get better and better. He has made our modest attack look a bit more threatening.
