This guy questioned whether King is up to NRL despite the fact that he has already proven he is by virtue of the fact that he has played before. He also suggested that we will be able to determine whether he is up to NRL after this one game against the Bulldogs.



This guy made the point that we shouldn’t put too much stock in just one game given that King has already played NRL.



This guy seems to be making the point King hasn’t really had a chance to play consistent football.



This guy then suggests that if this is the case, surely his original point about not placing too much stock in one game remains valid.



This guy misses the point completely given that the original poster talked about the game against the Bulldogs giving us answers (i.e. one game).



This guy dealt with Hindy’s silly interjection accordingly.



This guy now gets on the same stupid train that the previous idiot did but mixes it up slighty due to Pou’s dismissive response to Hindy. It is no longer ‘one game’, it is ‘one weekend’. This is despite the fact that it was actually the original poster that put forward the assertion that as a result of this game (of which there is only one) that we will “At least we'll get to see if King is up to NRL or not.”



This guy, being the sensible chap that he is and knowing what he knows (see above narrative) suggests that Fanbase isn’t following.



This guy suggests he is following but lets himself down in a big way by referring to ‘one weekend’ which for those following to date would indicate that he has no clue what anyone was actually been saying in the entire thread. He appears to just be trying to agitate Pou. Its similar to what Bart does to Suity…



The sensible chap is back to give Fanbase a chance to redeem himself and explain what happened.



….and this chap doesn’t take the opportunity up and somehow suggests that the sensible chap isn’t following the conversation. He also says he can’t be bothered explaining the conversation.



This guy points out that it is Fanbase that showed he didn’t follow the conversation and he hasn’t done anything to suggest that this still isn’t the case.



This guy finally admits he has no idea which means the poor sensible chap has to explain the entire exchange.

He said he hopes he gets a decent crack, implying that he might not. Therefore how can he know we'll get to see if King is up to first grade if he doesn't even know whether he'll stay in the team?

So much conjecture over a simple post.
I never said anything about one game being enough to see if King is up to NRL level. I meant it would be good to see him given a number of weeks of consistent NRL footy to see if he is up to the weekly grind. Having played NRL in the past does not mean he is up to it, there are many players who play a handful of games and never see first grade again, because they are not up to it.
I've said a number of times I'd like to see King given a decent crack at NRL as he is a smart dummy half with a good kicking game and his defence has improved a lot over the past 18 months.
His game against the Bulldogs was solid and he did some good things both in attack and defence. Glad he's getting a go and we'll find out if he's up to NRL or more a good lower grades level player.
