I was one of the ones making excuses for Mullen for a long time but we've shown him far too much loyalty for very little return.

Purple patch months once a year doesn't cut it in first grade.

Mullen needs to be punted next time he's off contract.

Burgess Elbow swung up and hit O'Donnell in the head, maybe not intentional but reckless yet no one picked it up on replay?

Forget injuries and set backs, we lack one thing only in this club and that's character.

Raiders have done it far tougher than we have and they have dug in had a go, we use injuries etc as a excuse. We turned up today, not expecting to win and not giving 100%.

We haven't been outplayed, we just haven't competed enough, the south tries have come through simple missed tackles and not contesting bombs.

Yeh well Mullen would be good outside an extremely dominant half like Johns where he's able to chime in once a set with a run or pass and provide a kicking option on long kicks. Unfortunately we don't have a Johns and nor is there one in the comp bar Thurston.

We are going to have the NSW syndrome if we continue with Mullen has one of our halves - forwards winning the battle only for the backs to be starved of any attacking set up play or repeat sets.

We need new halves, some strike backrowers. Our 1-5 is fine.

Mullen let's us down. The players work hard but they get no chance for good execution cos Mullen won't get Darius the ball he needs out wide. Darius really should rip him and Roberts. Give Boyd some young enthusiastic halves and i believe we would really go well.

Yep, I think he's in for a bit of a shock next time around, Bennett would be expecting more from a bloke with over 150 games under his belt.

I am amazed at how bad his short kicking game is, you'd think that after practicing it daily for 10 years you'd get better at something.

Souths were for the taking today, Inglis has done nothing. They have not been that good, but poor defence around the ruck killed us.

We looked lethargic and like we didnt want to be there. Where was that enthusiasm we had against the Tigers?
