Farah isn't the future and Cook is.

If we aren't careful Cook will want out and there would go another hooker with very good skill and pace like Api.........

So we should give cook the number 9 jersey even though farah is far and away out playing him?

What happened to earming your jersey. Cooks task was simple, outplay an aging and over the hill Robbie Farrah. In that task he has failed. Yet he should still be rewarded with a starting place? We should be rewarding mediocrity? If cook wants the number 9 jersey he has to earn it, we can't just be giving away jumpers because a guy is younger. Murray has more future them Sam, so let's make murray our 13 and put Sam on the bench. For a guy who claims others settle for mediocrity you seem to settle for it a lot. You critize low earning bench players and someone like Kelly who has only played 1 game and was signed as depth, yet you want cook to be given a jumper just because, and you never criticize the twins even though they are 2 of our 3 highest earning forwards.
If cook wants out because he isn't given a jumper he hasnt earnt then let him. No nrl club, not even the knights at the moment, give out jumpers just because.

Although Cook has had limited chances time wise, he is not the savior for Souths, the modern day hooker has to be able to tackle, plus he panics a lot and not measured. Take him off the bench and replace him, he either starts or doesn't waste of space on the bench... I like the idea of Cameron Murray on the bench.

Fui hasn't played a whole 80 yet, he usually gets replaced by a middle forward with Sam drifting to the edge for a stint. If there are question marks on Chricton then I'd prefer we carry an extra second rower on the bench as cover. That way the coaches won't be tempted to leave an injured player on.

I think Souths might have to make a decision on one of the hookers next season. There's no point carrying two hookers who are probably getting decent salaries. Young pheonix hunt is apparently making his mark on the 20's.

That would not of been easy for Madge to do. I'm glad his taking the risk even though I do like cook quite a bit.

Both are contracted. I think we'll see another year with both. I think the challenge should be put to cook, you have until the end of 2018 to outplay farah and despose of him. Cook will get his chance. Either from 20 minute bench spells he must impress or build on, or any chance he gets if farah is out. If he can't beat an aging by the middle of 2018 let's hit the market

If cook is dropped for this week Maguire better hope we win.

If we lose the Cook Sooks will be out in full force, even though it would be the most common sense approach.
