Even when it looked like we might be able to take it deep and maybe eek out a victory, it was clear we are shy of a couple of really explosive and speedy backs that could make that happen. I don't think Storm got out of first gear for much of that game in all honesty, and their big stars didn't fire. Looking at the scoreboard, that doesn't bear thinking about.

By now I expect more than effort. I expect results to fall our way more frequently and I do appreciate we are a 'rebuilding' club - for want of a better term - in a very tough competition.

Given what transpired in Vegas, that was a really crap performance to follow up with and we literally hit a wall with 20 to go. Right this moment, I am really struggling to see positives in the near and distant future, and the trouble is I feel we have bided our time long enough as suffering fans.

Someone has to be held accountable for this.
I don't want to hear about the silver linings. We got that enough in 2025.

Fullback - Gutherson - recruit Ponga
Wingers - current wingers Setu and Tu to reserve grade
Centers - bothes and Suli to go
Five-eighth - Kyle to reserve grade
Props - Lawrie, Guler, Sele to go Leilua to prop
Edge - Egan and Su'A
Lock - Stewart
Hooker - Cook to old, Liddle injury prone

There's no redemption for Vegas.
We competed for about an hour, but our kicking game was poor and our middle 3rd got ran around. We made so many dumb errors. Our edges can't defend laterally.
I'm hoping it's just Vegas fatigue but tonight just felt like a realisation that this season isn't going to be any better.

The coaching might be bad but the recruitment is our major issue.
We need to double down on the Keaon signing with a couple of speedy capable backs or it will be to no avail.
We need something to look forward to. Hard to see it right now when we keep going backwards.

doesnt happen with this Mob
next week against the Eels this same lot will be trotted out , barring injuries
we r so vunerable when starved of possession and have to defend for long periods
at times in matches we look ok but we cant sustain the effort for the 80 mins
our over paid ageing stars such as Gutho and Holmes are well below their best
some of the silly errors we make are not even schoolboy standard
Gutho in particular has been poor for the past 18 months .way too many errors and poor defensive reads
Cookie tries but is being burnt out having to play the full 80 with no Liddle
the majority of our "star" juniors coming thru are over hyped and over rated except Egan Stewart Reed
Couchmans have plateaued
Most of the better sides tend to play us like a training drill and rarely get into top gear at any stage , thus giving us poor fans false hope
where do we go from here ?????? we need to buy fast attacking backs ie Purdue Xerri Bula etc Hope Reed is ready to step up or go hard for Deardon
But with two new sides entering the NRL in the next two years that job has been made even harder

Honestly this has been the same old story under Flannos reign great footy one week appalling the next week we haven't strung 3 consecutive wins since 2022 that's a seriously concerning stat! I won't get excited or optimistic until this pathetic steak is broken.

Yeah. It was Vegas fatigue. They still have jet lag. The 60 minute mark is midnight in Vegas, so the team all felt tired and sleepy at the same time (probably, maybe, I don’t know)
