I'm coming down from the Sunshine Coast and booked my flights a few months ago luckily I got some tickets in bay 4 a day or two after tickets went on sale.

Anzac Day back in the 90's was the biggest crowd I think v dragons. Forgive me my memory is beer blurred.

For a game against the dragons at home about 15 years ago, I lined up in the beer queue at 7pm. Game kicked of at 7.30. Got to my spot with beers 5 mins before half time. Wasn't happy.

There was a massive fight on the hill between St George and Illawarra fans.

yeah well those beer lines are hopeless.

the ground record was set in 2004. we lost that game

before that the Anzac day 1999 game was the ground record.

the Illawarra vs dragons fight game would have been 2003

the new capacity is actually less. ive been to derbys in 08 and 2010 and they were both big crowds (19k or so)

dunno if you could fit many more in

they are waiting to finalise ticketed members before releasing the rest of the seats to public for sale, unlikely to pickup any grandstand seating other than concourse and GA for the hill
