Coolum...I thought we had a gentleman's agreement that only allowed you up here ! :D

You swampies should make sure this games a sellout. Will be an epic derby.

Aaah ok. Coolum Pub has an awesome big screen to watch the footy btw. The publican is an ex fringe Bronco so he loves his footy.

I gave up trying to stop everyone years ago. A good portion of my mates are working on the Kawana hospital, which goes to show what kind of population is coming (already?) here.

Clown Town? = mini Gold Coast, take your family up to the D.I mate. (Need a 4wd though)

I used to go up to Coolum at least once s year to visit friends and laze about.
One year, I think it was '99, I was having a meal and a few drinks at where one of my friends worked and she said I could stay back for staffy's.
Anyway I'm getting a little sloshed and I'm talking to people who own the place and the convo turns to footy, they ask who I go for, I reply Cronulla, turns out one of them supports the Sharks as well (or maybe both I can't remember), so I start belting out Up Up Cronulla, some eyes were rolling, some laughing.
Fast forward 5 or 6 years later, I'm on here and I see the name coolumsharkie, so once again I'm sloshed and I ask him if he knows such and such, his reply was, yeah they work(ed?) at my family's restaurant. I ask him "do you remember a night where etc, etc" and low and behold me and the mighty Coolum had already met.
Nowadays we catch up where we can and have a few.
The end.

yep that's him.

Bit of a celeb up your way .
does a bit of new talk as well as the surf clubs.
I have known him for 20 years...he was a selector for the broncos at one point I think.

I went surfing in NZ with him...I thought he was going to drown then.
hopeless he was. :)

Dragons hung on to only just lose to Melbourne after Melbourne were looking like running away with it midway through the 2nd half.

Will be tough for us, especially as we put a lot of physical & mental effort into the Cowboys loss.

Must win!

Dragons put a lot of effort in to winning that game too. Packer and a couple of other of their forwards looked absolutely exhausted at the end.

Anyway bomb the crap out of their back three. They struggled hard fielding kicks. Dugan and Aitken were way out of position all night.

And of course Ben Ross played for Nambour didn't ...

I'm from up there originally myself but moved away a while back - great spot

They could also have a field day against Loot TV and Feki...
If Beale is good to go I'd be hooking Loots and putting Beale in to tighten up that side's defence.

Yeah, Paulo to replace gal, then either JSL or Nu to replace Highington.
