Good luck guys should be a close game.

Whoever completes their sets higher will probs win.

Had a look at the odds Dragons $1.48 Souths $2.67.

We are struggling to field a back 5 with no Trell, AJ, Munro, Wighton, Aitken and Mellars.

No doubt Ilias and Cook will wanna have big games against us.

I think you guys will lift and will be hot this week wouldn’t be shocked if you win should be a cracker may the best team win.

Rabbits rather decimated by injury.
No excuses for Dragons and playing at home.

Let this not be the year for excuses. The best teams don't have them.
I believe that what sets them apart.

I think we should win but it's by no means a given.

Our line speed in defence and our general defensive effort played major factors in our loss to the dogs. I really don't know why D Youg remains our defensive coach.
Dogs line speed was a lot faster than us at the beginning of the game. For the first thirty minutes of the game they had 3 players in every tackle. When they raced to 28 points, I thought they will put 50 points on us. But by the last quarter they ran out of the puff. We ran 3 unanswered tries. We would have got them if it was not for the stupid mistakes.

Fegai has to be dropped. He made too many mistakes. Not sure if Ramsey is conditioned for first grade though. He may have to spent this year in the KoE. I would go with Sloan or Finnai,

Sloan for me.
Not much use in our quarter but could be good out wide with our current swing-shift style

2. Finau 9. Liddle 14. Cook

Why would you leave Cook on the bench to start ? His service from dummy half is a cut above Liddles. Liddle is great in attack against a tiring defence, not so much in the opening 10-15 minutes. Start with Cook, bring Liddle on around the 30 minute mark if the opposition look to be weakening, (or later in the game if we're well on top), then Cook back on later in the match - depending on which way the game's heading. Cook's a steady hand, great service and pass selection, solid defence and an organizer, Liddles a bit of an X-factor off the bench and perfect to bring on when Cookie needs a rest.

Replace Feagai with Ramsey. If Ilias fails again, move Flannagan to halfback and promote new 6 from reserve grade.

stop with this stupidity ... Ramsey cannot play NRL, he doesnt have the right contract for it.

I've defended Feagai a lot in the past.. and even that try where he came racing up people are blaming him for was actually more Suli's fault than his.. you can see Suli stay in when he should have been turning out, and by the time the ball is on the outside of Suli, Mat's only choice was to jam in and try to shut it down.

However, the rest of Mat's game was pretty poor and I just don't see how you can pick him this week. Unfortunately I also see Flano putting Lawrie in which will be tear your hair out stuff. The way Flano's spoken about Lawrie a couple of times over the off season is really concerning to me.. speaking as if he's going to be really important for us. We need to get Klemmer in asap, the middle is horrendous right now.

I continue to reserve final judgement on Lawrie until I see him back on the field (be it in firsts or NSW Cup). He did, after all, play with the after effects of a sternum injury all of last season. Unfortunately, we may not have much choice other than to live with whatever Blocker ends up running out of the sheds this year. We are already down to minimal options in the middle with Ryan C gone for the year and the young fellas still being very green.

The whole Molo situation has really effed us and it's probably agitating Klemmer now as well. The Tigers pulled him out last weekend, and don't look like they are going to play him again. I can't see us getting any dispensation from the NRL to bring Klemmer in as an additional player in our squad until the situation is sorted (otherwise this would have been sorted already).

I read somewhere maybe it was Facebook ( I don't believe much that comes from there ) but it was that they seen Lawrie viewing the Tigers facilities ......... Maybe a straight swap for Klemmer ......... Not sure whether he will make any difference from Lawrie ? Is Klemmer's line speed better, does he bend the line better , does he play the ball faster ? If he does then I'd take him , if not might as well keep Lawrie ........

only ever seen Finau on the left and looks as tho Tui has that locked (although IMO thats a waste outside of Val) Can see sloan coming in... right winger plus roaming attack

I'd like to see Sloan or Finau on the left outside Val but if they're happy with Tui there then put Sloan or Finau on the right and get Ilias to kick early for them over there if there's space - or get them early ball. We had an overlap out there a few times last week but either didn't go there or when we did Feagai stuffed it up.
Make yourselves a danger on both flanks and make the opposition defensive line spread out and leave hole - the Doggies compressed because we didn't threaten on the Right.

Two major issues I noticed yesterday.
Zero defensive line speed, they were litterally only taking two steps and standing flat footed holding the line for the dogs to run at them. You don't win games with that sort of lazy defensive line.

Matt Burton was not pressured when he was kicking the powerful high bombs kicks.
Laclan Illias was pressured when kicking and never got a good kick in.

Defense win games... dogs mobile forwards were too fast in defense and walk all over our forwards.
