I've said it before, Tets' defence is suss. I'm glad Wayne has said what he said publicly. He needs to pull his finger out.

Agreed. He doesn't use his shoulder in tackles and his first point of contact is with an arm which doesn't give any power in the tackle.

His attempt on Matalino was terribly soft resulting in the try. He won't see too much first grade unless he changes his tackling technique.

And they've done a number on the Sharks today as well

Yes they did. The Sharks were absolutely horrible though. Their worst performance by far this season.

Canberra's options from their dummy half and halves pairing late in the tackle count in attacking positions were effing horrible at times. Very unorganised. They could have scored 20 more.

The Sharks hardly had the ball at the right end to test Canberra's left side edge defence. Boyd will have a field day down that side if we match them in the forwards.

Yeah that was very disappointing by Tetevano.

Hope he does pull his finger out, because he has the tools to do very well.

Bit of a moot point now, but can somebody look at the match highlights on the NRL website and let me know if Friend actually grounds the ball for their first try? Looks as though he just does some sort of roll and then springs straight back to his feet without actually getting the ball down.

A mate of mine actually said the same thing. When I had another look at it I'm still not sure the ball touches the grass...

We'll beat Canberra. What about the last fortnight doesn't suggest we will? Canberra by 30 or 50 is pessimistic lads.

Now listen here Mr Newie, I made the same dire predictions for us against the Tigers, Sea Eagles and Warriors and so far I've been absolutely SPOT ON. You've got no business to come in here and dictate that I should start believing in my rugby league team. I mean what sort of world are you living in? Being a supporter is all about putting your team down!

JW and I have an understanding. We like to call it the Statler and Waldorf pact.

Here's how it goes. Our team is a bunch of overrated hacks and it's only a matter of 7 more days before we get shown up to be the frauds we are! Look at that Canberra team, they're formidable! They even have a badass team song! They have Jarrod Croker! Why can't you just let me wallow in my pessimism while the team pulls win after win and I tell them it's only a matter of one more week before the curtain falls on our 2012 season!

We won't win another game all year, let alone make the NRL finals series! You heard it here first!

The Knights weren't half bad against the Warriors! They were ALL BAD!

Signed,

Statler.

P.S. Knights BOOOOOOOOOOO!

Forget what Newie says SK, he is just looking through his red and blue glasses as usual and fails to see this team for the hacks they really are. Canberra are arguably the form side in the comp, proven today by them smashing the formitable Sharks, they will belt us all over the park. Dave Furner is the best coach in the comp and will have them absolutely firing for this one.

The Knights team travel agent will be working over time booking mad Monday trips next week.

Season. Over

My contribution is to not watch the knights on fox. If I do this they win, well Tigers and Warriors have worked.....lol

Mine is to bag the absolute crap out of them in the first 15 minutes. It works every time. Even as I go on my tirade I think "whooaa I'm really going to look like a clown this time ... what an amazing comeback it will be!!"
