Lets look at the potential team tomorrow.

To'o- MWZ injured. Phillips getting sacked opened a spot for him.
Naden- exemption needed originally.
Burton- exemption needed to play.
Kenny - Same as Naden
Martin - took Kikau pulling out day of the game to get a starting spot.
Crichton (assuming he comes in) is development squad.

So the good selections of late all came due to Ivan's hand being forced not x player getting the punt
That's right...

Leniu is only in because Ivan was forced to pick him. Not like Winterstein is available.

Crichton is only in because Whare and Jed Cartwright are not available.

To'o made his debut the game Mansour was DROPPED.

Ivan is far from perfect . But saying his hand was forced into every decision is plain wrong. He made plenty of decisions to debut these guys.

Majority of young blokes get their chance from another players injury anyway, these days barely anyone gets dropped if they are an established first grader, tbh Cleary deserves some credit for dropping Edwards, Mansour and RCG earlier in the year.

JFH. Martin, Kikau and Yeo all play 80 mins. RCG and Tamou 50 mins.. How much game time do you think Leinu will get?

Those you mentioned aren't going to be here next year so why not give Leinu 10 mins or so?

Depends if Crichton is in for an injured Naden or not.

A Mansour that should of been dropped earlier and still only has 1 try. Point with that is MWZ or Phillips are available then To'o is still in NSW Cup

Who cares why they have been picked. Let's celebrate that they are getting a run.

It is always good to see debuts but going forward need these guys picked for other reasons than we have no one else.. Which is the case or you don't get exemptions approved

Thepoint is you hate Ivan and even when he gets shit right youre trying to discredit him for it.

Using your bullshit logic no coach ever deserves any credit for any player to ever debut. There's always circumstances contributing to it.

The FACT of the matter is in many cases we have debuted players ahead of fit alternatives. That's not alast resort. That is Ivan making a decision to put these guys in.

He has been awful and f**ked alot of things up. But he has also given many players an opportunity in first grade. Some were forced. But most were choices. If he deserves credit for one thing it's that.

There's some myth around Ivan not giving guys a chance. Yet in his time with us he had a similar or higher strike rate to Hook with debuting guys. Yet ivan is painted as being forced to do it while Hook gets pats on the back.

Ivan is a failure this season. Without doubt. Even if we scrape into the finals. A decent coach doesn't put us in theposition he did.

Depends on the circumstances. There are coaches that actually have senior guys in lower grades for weeks in place of a rookie.

When is the last time Roosters or Storm have had to get exemptions to fill a team? Yet they are forever debuting guys

It isn't a hook v Ivan thing BUT Cleary was in FG while Seg and Soward was in NSW Cup. That is what I call promoting on merit not being forced.

It isn't myth that Moylan was told he wouldn't play FG and to look elsewhere before injuries got him a start...once again a quality player only playing through exemption. Then of course those I mentioned here all the cases dramatically turned the teams fortunes around.

It isn't an anti Ivan thing. Assuming we use the money wisely I will praise him for moving on Blake and DWZ. Certainly if he moves the waste of space RCG on then done well.

But too soon to praise using the young guys when A an exemption was used and B a soft draw helped
