Translation, Nathan will re-sign.
Im not so sure of that now. It's clear that Nathan and Ivan want to link up sooner rather than later and I cant see it happening with us anymore.

After the shit Ivan has copped. I think there's no chance it happens now.

Ok lets fix this.
Katoa out for Egan.
DWZ back to fullback.
Maloney gets a rest.
Merrin goes on a diet.
Yeo gets a rest cause he is carrying an injury somewhere.
Hethrington to sports psychologist
Throw any number on peach and let him roam free range organic footballer.
Tell the others to stop dropping the ball and missing tackles.

This is the path to premiership glory.

Also add: don't f**king run yourself into touch on the first or second tackle, you complete muppets.

I don't know. If you listen to his press conference, that will give you some clues. Only time will tell.

Just watched the highlights again and realised it was Whare not giving up on the chase on Don that meant he didn't run under the sticks. Would've ended 18-16 if that wasn't the case.
It's those efforts in a players game that make all the difference in the world. Have to hand it to Whare,he signs for 5 years, and is performing admirably. Too many players who sign up big time who think they are on easy street and think all they have to do is go through the motions so to speak.

Nathan will re-sign for the next couple years.

He wants to stay and who knows how Ivan goes in two years. He’s got a basketcase on his hands. Success for him isn’t a guarantee.

In two years he might have the club firing and it may be a more suitable time to move.

DWZ back to fullback.
All good except for one thing you didn't mention. We need a winger.
Crichton? Na.
Phillips? Na.
Whare or Blake? Weakening one position to fill another, and not very well at that.
Sorry, the alternatives are too horrible to contemplate. Ciraldo/Gus (whoever is actually running the side) appears to have given this thought before this game and another Broncos-style carve-up is too horrible to contemplate. So I think Peach will stay right where he is.

Whare is a better winger than Peach is a fullback

Our centres are what's winning us games right now.

Whare been your best. So many bagged him.

Eels did you a favour by belting the dragons.

My observation. Panthers have stopped playing tough footy and working hard and grinding away. They seem to want to score on every set and are back to old ways of forwards not just running straight and hard. They can turn it around easy enough. Mansour has yet to hit any form and Peach is finding feet at the back. Time they get back to basics and play a high energy kick chase game.
Coach Cirro hit the nail on the head by noting that in the 1st half,we were over enthusiastic. I think it also had a lot to do with the frustrating events of the previous few days. The players over complicated their game plan by being too flamboyant in that first half and as a result, completely lost their way.

This will an important game for us when we look back at this for future reference as a guide to what happens when we throw patience out of the window.

Need to stick to a more subtle game plan, and be patient in it's execution.

Hetherington suspended for 2 weeks.

Bloke is a turkey.

I can only assume that it is due to his past record? If he had no priors surely the MRC would have given it a grading that meant it only required a fine.

Hopefully Tamou is fit and can play next week. I guess Ellis is the alternative if Tamou isn't fit.

Yeah he had carry over points.

My big fear is Melbourne totally picking Peach's positioning apart in the last round shattering his confidence the week before we play finals

Fullback is too important a position to leave to someone new going into the finals, I’d gladly weaken the wing if it means DWZ going back to FB.

Phillips is a fairly capable winger. I’d keep Whare at centre because he’s finding form. Peach back the bench.
