f**k it is hard to go on with the rest of the day after that.

Depends on how you look at it. Not only the game,but the overall year which has led us to this point. After the shitty run with injuries,and eventually feeling the pinch of inexperience fatigue,and having at one stage 4 players to origin,we deserve some luck even if it's not a convincing performance.

As they say,it doesn't matter in the manner in how you get there,as long as you make it counts when it really matters.

Shirvingtons comments themselves are obvious and that’s one of the things that bugs me about him.

He’s still got a big problem with discipline, been suspended a lot in the lower grades too.

You'd swear he is doing all this to tempt the club to get rid of him. Wouldn't surprise me if he has had a feeler from another club. Usually players who want out of a club get on the piss and embarrass themselves.

Didn't know about shirvington's comments as I had the game on mute to be honest. It's very difficult for me to tolerate News Limited's coverage of Rugby League anymore. Their sustained bias against the club, most notably from Phil Rothfield, has been completely ridiculous for years. The man's deliberately lied about Penrith's goal setting when Gus first joined the club in an attempt denigrate the club's rebuild. The guy's even gone as far as to literally publish a fake image in his article to denigrate our win against Manly in the finals last year.

NRL360's nicely cleaned up and repackaged 7 hour extravaganza with Griffin as they repeatedly allowed him to lie about even the most publicly known things without challenge is the straw that breaks the camel's back. I'm now turned off their disingenuous, disguised propaganda.

Same here. All the time he was in the bin, the players played their hearts out and the Tits didn't score. When he came back on,they scored of HIS mistake. If I was Hetherington,I wouldn't be cracking any jokes at this weeks training. Nobody is going to laugh.

Being that all games in the finals series are broadcast by Nine,there is no need for Foxtel. And I won't be renewing for next season either.

You mean the big game choker credits the guy who cant get his team to the big game for his career?

He spent his first few seasons as a benchie. Realistically Hook held him back.

Katoa has gone from playing real straight & direct with good service & getting us moving forward, to crabbing half pace sideways then passing across the ruck every play.

Maybe he’s just lost his legs given this is his first sustained run in the NRL but maybe time for Egan.

I think that is what it looks like. We have seen it with all the rookies. Eventually their bodies run out of gas. They just aren't up to the grind of first grade yet.
