Wouldn’t mind playing the Raiders next week instead of the week after.

They put so much into that game, they are likely to be a little flat next week.

Heard a stat today that Canberra have done it 23 times this year and the leading player doing it was Hodgson with 11. Which happened to be more than the second most team to steal the ball in the NRL. Lol.

Hodgson went to 12 tonight when he stole the ball 30 metres out from the Melbourne line with 5 minsto go. Papalli scores next set of six and the Raiders won the game.

Theyve started working in the first 20 minutes. Get into the grind. Roll through their sets. Get defence tough and in order and set the tone so theyre in a position to win in at the end when the games on the line.

And this tough first 20 gives them the confidence to believe they can win the game.

THAT was exactly our blueprint for success pre-2017.

THAT is exactly the opposite to what we do now. We have a soft error ridden first 20 minutes

The Dogs ahd the Storm beat in April but the ref got the storm home in the last minute.
So I think the dogs have beaten or gone close to beating every top 8 team.

The game was still pretty terrible to watch.
After watching the storm vs raiders game dogs v bunnies was error and penalty ridden and pretty average.
Neither of them played like a top 8 team.

Raiders with the second half come back keeping storm to 0?
Guess we can’t call them faders this year.

When the dust has settled on the year, they may have underachieved for where they could’ve finished.

i.e. finish top 4 & out in straight sets.

Personally, if any team in the current top 8 were to win it, I’d choose them.

The fact all year is maloney and cleary cant play together.

They have spent more time in the oppositions 20 than any team in the comp.
They have also come up with the least points.

It was when maloney got injured or suspended and Jerome leui came in and played with cleary that they started winning.
Then cleary got injured in SOO and luei kept his spot to play with maloney the winning continued.

Jim and cleary were reunited and their run stalled...until maloney got suspended for tripping. Unlucky us.

Reunited again tonite. 12 points.

Thats why maloney wants out.
