Yes I don’t understand taking that risk as you only need a clip to the head and your off even if not your own doingHe was asked about this during the week. He knows its a risk but thinks between S'ua and Kyle we have cover if an outside back goes down.. Don't necessarily agree with this but at the moment we are very dependent on a game plan revolving around 4 forwards on the bench. I guess with the roster he has in 2024 he prefers to gamble and take his lumps when it goes wrong. As long as he's learnt the Eisenhuth to centre lesson.
Yes also dogs have been lucky in many games. Warriors lost 3 outside backs in that game and had to play forwards out of position, if that didn't happen warriors would've won.How important was that win the Dogs got against the Warriors when they won on golden point. The Warriors were denied a clear penalty right in front in the end which instead put the game into Golden point. Saints would be equal with the Dogs and if they win would move ahead. Instead if Saints beat the Dogs, they will still be behind due to points diff.
Goes to show how important these key decisions are for refs at the back end of games. That was a clear penalty which everybody agreed on in the end.
Exactly this. Well said!If Curran is ruled out, I'd drop Lawrie and bring Bird onto the bench as a safety measure.
There's a lot of hype around this game, everyone talking it up, many lining up to kiss Doggie/Gus/Ciraldo arse.
I hope we win and send the Doggie fans into riot mode so the rest of the world is reminded what a bunch of cnuts that club really are. It would be worth it just to see Anasta scrambling for excuses.

I wish and hope you are right , but I'm not feeling it ........Across the park we are not quick but Sloan and liddle are genuinely rapid , so we have enough speed to cause damage out of dummy half , in support or out the back w Sloan presuming our forwards are holding their own and line speed and intent is there in defence.
I’ve got a good feeling about this one, hope I’m right
Kikau particularly is good on the chase so hopefully Sloan gets plenty of protection.Burton had supposedly put that bomb away but has bought it back out recently.. there is no doubt they will pump sloan.. im expecting them all to be contested.. but the better we go up front.. the less time they will have to put that kick up and get a chase going.. they have a few guys who can chase though.
This is the problem 6 again as you say , penalties these things they can't over come so to be any chance as you have well highlighted , things have to be fairly even or they crumble ........ Also Hunt needs another good game as I mentioned before he was much better not being first receiver as Kyle and Jack did most of it which left Hunt already on the move to be able to play off the cuff ...... Anyway this is a big big game for us win this and big change of playing in the finals ........Round 12 we lost 44-12 to bulldogs. Possession was 58%-42% in favour of bulldogs.
Last round we beat Storm. Possession was 50%-50%
The round before that we lost 46-10 to panthers. Possession was 58%-42% in favour of panthers.
This is the era of 6 tackle repeats and some teams are better than others at milking it and Bulldogs are one of the best. Cameron has learnt it from his master Ivan. Sometimes even commentators are perplexed what the 6 again was for. We all saw it in state of origin 2 what happened to Queensland. Even the best of the best can crumble with the weight of possession against them. what bothers me the most is that the captain can challenge penalties but 6 agains cannot be challenged.
Anyway, if referee keeps his whistle in his pocket we will be very competitive and with ground advantage we will beat bulldogs. If the weight of possession goes against us, then we will be out of gas by the last quarter.
Regardless of what happens this year, Flanno has been away for long time and needs to study the art of playing in the 6 again era and coach it to our team for 2025.
Also that Cowboys game. That should have been 2 points in the bag. No excuses for falling apart that day.Don’t forget us dropping the Manly game
If they can't get up for this then really they are no hope this year ...... At home after a good win against the Storm , a big chance of cementing a spot in the top 8 ....... Just get it done .......Also that Cowboys game. That should have been 2 points in the bag. No excuses for falling apart that day.
