I've been impressed by our effort as of late however if we can't win this week I cannot see us making the eight. Should be an interesting match and I'd love a win over the Dogs!

Benny seems to be bringing him on slowly slowly. The front row is not a place where we are short handed.

I hate it when the Dogs play Brisbane....never confident about that one.

You guys normally play well against the dogs. Even with all the injuries, I still think the game is going to be tough.

Brisbane and Hodges always lifts against the Dogs.

good luck for this week guys should be a close game. You guys tend to play well against us which is why im not very confident although i think were in for an entertaining game on friday.

This game is crucial I think. We need to pick up 2 of our last 3 games to be comfortable, although I think 24 will make the 8 this year on for and against. So we need to win 2 of the last 3 against the Dogs at home, Raiders at home, and Parra away. I dont think we will beat Parra away. Broncos by 8 this weekend.

Eastwood OUT with that Inglis/grapple knee injury and Hodges has the lurgie.

Moon comes on the bench and Thaiday at lock.

Without Hodges our best attacking weapon becomes favourable refereeing decisions closely followed by Steve Michaels!

Think Braveheart, Rocky, Saving Private Ryan and a touch of Wayne's World (Bennett that is) and that's what's needed to win this game.

Hes only played 2 games but hes been pretty good in both. Runs the ball hard. But he doesnt get much game time. Benny is using the same sort of way he used Hannant last year, comes off the bench between the 55th & 60th minute.

Not mind games ... but I think he'll play pumped up with psuedo-ephradrine.

Honestly, you couldn't have scripted a worse end of the year injury wise. Even Wayne Bennett was smiling on the news tonight, talking about not picking guys on form (Moon), but just getting players on the field.

true, although if hodges is out tomorrow i wouldn't be surprised if hunt is made to make a quick return. I think hodges will play though tomorrow.

Great stuff from the boys, it's been a tough last month but you can't ask anymore as a fan than the heart shown. To have 10 or so players out each week and match it with all the big boys in the hunt for our title really reminds you why we support this club.

One thing though, I'm getting sick of this media bullsh*t that tonight was our last crack at the finals. 2 wins see's us in the finals and if we play like we did against the Doggies in the next fortnight then I think we can roll both Canberra and Parramatta.

We've just got to play with the same enthusiasm on attack, bash and barge was only going to get us a nice 1-12 margin, it was never going to win football matches. It was good to see the forwards really getting involved more in attack with the likes of Taylor, Thorn, Parker and Thaiday causing havoc on the fringes, that's what we were doing so well before the injury plague hit us.

3 - Thorn
2 - Thaiday
1 - Taylor
