Perry was great, no denying that but our forwards were amazing tonight. SBW might have been carrying a niggling injury it seemed but he was completely shut down.

I like to give credit when it is due, and Perry's passing game was spot on last night and his kicking wasn't too foul either. It's no coincidence he played well against the Bulldogs - I believe that's where played in reserves for a while before getting shown the door.

Again Thorn was "the man" in defence - which he has been almost all year. His clean-up work around the ruck will be missed next year.

If Parker hadn't thrown that pass with about five minutes to go, five metres from the Bulldogs line, we would have been a chance.

cant fault the effort. i thoguht we were unlucky, late in the game tonga dropped it and was ruled to have had no advantage (depsite running 5 meteres and stepping past players) and the dogs went up the other end and kciked the field goal
had we gotten the scrum we may have scored... oh well

We have a habit of shutting down these kind of players like Sonny Bill, Gasnier and Inglis. Mostly its thanks to Berrigan. His defence will be a big miss next year.
