We really dont have the quality of players to be better than 6th-12th on the ladder. No matter who our coach is unless we upgrade a few positions that is about the vicinity on the ladder we will hold for the next however many years.

We need to toughen up mentally, we don't perform in big games, today and against the dogs.

Look at how many games we've been 18-24 behind in the first half, some we've won but against the good sides it's a death sentence, we never seem ready to play and then when the position is hopeless, we start playing footy.

Describing our chances as decent is a huge stretch. It'd be a miracle if we made it from here. We'd need about 10 different results to fall into place.

Couple of observations,

The young blokes, tyrone etc really got a lesson today, you can't underestimate the damage gifting the ball to Manly in the first minute did to the teams mindset. It's one thing to run down the tigers at home, it's another thing entirely to face Manly at home at full strength.

Second, we desperately need more leaders in the pack, Bedsy is doing his best and Willie adds something but when the pressure is on, they go into their shell.

Third, Bennett needs to really tough them up, they just wilt under pressure. I'd start with a in house psychologist, we need an edge.

Finally today was unnecessary, dropping so many games at home during the season is a killer, they really didn't give themselves a real chance with the run home they had.

Not sure this season can justify a pass mark for all involved with the club.

That's a complete other story. I said we are a chance IF we beat those 2.

The Cowboys whilst being more consistent this year are still a bit of an unknown as far as what to expect out of them.

The Rabbitohs have looked a shadow of themselves the past 2 weeks.

I still believe in us, today was bad but if we do the little things right, get our share of possession we have points in us now.

Soooo, I started watching the channel 9 coverage, then came here at 28-4 to see the reactions.
I guess it's good we got back into the game in the 2nd half (meaning we didn't let them repeat the 1st half).

No chance of the finals now.

I don't know, don't have much to say about it, just wish we could turn up for the big games and actually up our game like most other clubs do. We seem not be able to handle the better teams attack and speed and get flustered and make more simple errors.
