Lets see now.
We have:
A guy with a broken eyelash playing wing
A guy with a dodgy shoulder playing centre
A guy with a dodgy groin as the utility, and
A guy with a dodgy hip as the reserve forward.

Genius!

Well I rubbed my new dragon this morning

" well , I rubbed my new dragon this morning "

What the f*** ? ? I know that the years have gone by , in my case too many years , however in my days we had another name for it and it wasn't called a bluudy dragon . And just how did you manage to get a " new " one ?

The mind simply boggles just thinking about it !

Don't think Dufty would be 'rested' unless he's one of the two players with the flu..

Problem comes if Frizz is out injured, 2 have the flu it only leaves 17. Could be that McGregor is left with no option but to include McCrone.
That bench really worries me. Sele should have been in the 17 instead of Lawrie

Hello fellow Mighty Dragons brothers

McCrone on the bench. F#####k How long will it take McDickhead to move Super sub Mann just to bring on his favourite son McClown?

FMD, this one's in the bag, Duges to Wing for the kick returns, chimes in when wants. We have an improved back line.
Mathews is a worry.
As long as McCrone is limited to 0 minutes, I reckon we got this.
17 v 16.

Put McCrone on the wing so he cannot kick the ball straight into Boyds hands

St George Illawarra's NYC side have suffered a huge 46-12 defeat to the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium on Friday afternoon.

The Broncos had the scoring underway within six minutes when hooker Tristan Hope crossed the white stripe.

The Dragons hit back in the 17th minute when Jason Gillard picked up a scrappy ball out wide and crossed in the corner.

Broncos halfback Gerome Burns scored in the 24th minute following a long-winding run, though the Red V responded nine minutes later through Reuben Garrick.

Down 12-8 at half-time, the Dragons would also have to make do without prop TJ Uele for the first 10 minutes of the second half after he was sin-binned following a scuffle at the break.

The Broncos were able to score three tries in Uele's absence; the first two were through hooker Hope who had a hat-trick by the 47th minute.

Broncos winger Herbie Farnworth scored a lucky try three minutes later when a wayward Hope kick travelled directly across field.

The Dragons stayed in the hunt when fullback Zac Lomax scored off a scrum play in the 55th minute.

But the Broncos put any hope of a Dragons comeback to bed very quickly thanks to tries from centre Hayden O'Hara and five-eighth Josh Faiud.

Brisbane rounded out the 34-point win when Burns scored his second try in the final two minutes.

Brisbane Broncos 46 (Tristan Hope 3, Gerome Burns 2, Herbie Farnworth, Hayden O'Hara, Josh Faiud tries; Gerome Burns 7 goals) defeated St George Illawarra 12 (Jason Gillard, Reuben Garrick, Zac Lomax tries) at Suncorp Stadium. Half-time: Broncos 12-8.

Duges to the wing is genius. I hope the aitken hogs it and never passes to him. Let him know how Macdonald feels.

Can anyone explain why McGregor couldn't name sick and injured players?

Probably to keep Broncos guessing. Honestly I don't think any of us or Bennett for that matter thought he had the balls/nous to move Dugan to wing with Aitken centre and Dufty FB. I really like it! - regardless of result it shows a different mindset to what he had before.

Agree, I like it too.
Thommo looks fired up - good sign - hope he keeps talking at them all night.
