f**k people are harsh on Will Smith. He's had an extremely tough few weeks against the best teams in the comp and has been solid in every game. Fatigue would of had to be an issue. You also can't really expect a lot from a guy who has played 4 top grade games out of position, especially when your playing the Storm and the 10 metres is 8 metres and the ruck was a shambles all night.

Spot on. Cut the guy some slack and let him develop his game.

I'm not slashing my wrists over last night. We played a team with a spine that has won several premierships, SOO's and Kanagroo trophies playing in their positions. We were missing our number 6/7 and was down to our fourth choice who is an NRL newbie. We had DWZ on the wing who is barely 19 and an NRL newbie. When you factor in all the players missing and the last minute withdrawal of Segyaro, to keep such a great team to 4 tries, given the penalties they had, was a good result. We tried hard but weren't good enough.

Similar to our 2nd round clash against them. Matched them all game really just didn't have the options in attack to win it.
