Bird gives me the shits with that actually, that he can't run straight. You get told to run straight by coaches in u10s

I’ve been watching some reserve grade matches. Against the dogs Bird was rather ordinary, nothing “wrong” as such, just ineffective. However, against the bears I thought he did play really well, Eve a nice chip for a try. I think LTK would have been the way to go, with Bird on the bench as cover (Or Luc), but Flanno has picked the safer lower risk option.

Well for me, we aren’t winning the comp & doubtfull we make the 8 so instead of the same ole same ole , we invest in Finau & KT? Prepare for next season ?

I think we are still in it this year, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t trial LKT. Finau though is out injured with hammy issues. By giving LKT a go we get an idea on how fast he can come thru, give him the right offseason.

If LKT plays I bet he will switch him in as late as possible (i.e. an hour before kickoff), 18th man would be RFM or MMolo...

NSW Cup is literally 1 hour before 1st grade kick off also on Sunday... so by the time that starts, we will have a final team-list anyway.

I doubt he plays Rev. His debut would've been announced. I think Flanno is saving him for if we don't make finals

Yah fair enough, I do feel like we have an extra spot on that bench though, lawrie, toby, ryan, similar shapes.. couchies can do extra minutes and cover 2nd row.. dont rly need RFM or MMolo aswell... but no marshke or brown in the extended.. dont think Ravalawa makes any sense either.

I'd love to see Ravalawa at 17 for this game. I think we would all be surprised how well he would to as a piggy. He could also cover for a wing spot in any of our outside backs were injured as well.

I dont know if I can bring myself to think we can win this game with Bird at 6. With the way Hunt is the Titans will know that shutting Hunt down will be all they need to do. Its games like this take really worry me, and in games where we really need to deliver to get back into the eight, we havent. Anyway heres hoping they can do something for us fans and give us hope of maybe a top 8 finish.

Until we are a chance to make the top 8, Flanno will stick with knowns. LKT at FG is unknown quality. That is why he is going with Bird

I personally think Titans bounce back on the back of Foran.
Hunt on his own with so much on his mind is a worry unless our forwards really stand up.
