moga is slow and was gassed by the 50 metre on the intercept
sua was strong same a jack
thats about it
beers where cold because there where very little supporters
angus beef burger was the highlight

It’s such a damn shame you know . Going by our performances over the last few games the Big Red V would certainly had made a huge dent in the semis if only we had been there . 🙄

Apologies gents , merely attempting to lighten the mood somewhat. What today’s effort clearly showed - yet again is that we are a rabble . The Tigers were missing so many of their big guns and yet we only just beat them .

The powers to be had best make a decision at the conclusion of our final match of season 2022 next week and that is to part ways with Griffin. Pay the man out and bring in Flanagan , perhaps he may be able to lure some talent to the Dragons as we are going nowhere fast with Griffin , only backwards .

Wish I had something positive to say however I am at the end of my tether with the team , coach and board .
Flanagan’s not the answer.. we do need a new age coach that can relate and communicate to the now young and fragile nrl player..

hmm,,,,what can you say about that game, i suppose its a win and only just that. for those that watched the presser and when hook was asked about how morale and things were not too good at the dragons,,,,, he said everything was fine and didnt know where that came from, i dont profess to be an expert on body language, but watching him sit there squirming in that seat answering that question suggested to me he is a dead man walking,,,
We can only hope

Observations today:
*Debelin is the defensive glue and shows more in attack than Hunt
*Hunt’s mind was elsewhere today.
*Sua was brilliant
*Sloane still lacking confidence. Perfect game for him to go sniffing around the middle of the ruck but nowhere to be seen
*Moga’s future is in the forwards, though not with us. Also needs to improve his fitness
*Blocka is a one dimensional player. If only he had an offload.
*Ford had a great game Took the ball up with gusto and played with speed
*Fui’s time is over.
*As mentioned by others, Bird plays with passion but f**k he’s dumb.

One more game and stress free weekends. Unfortunately Brisbane have too much pace and a game manager which will see us finish the season how we started, with a loss.
I think we started the season with a win

I may be clutching at straws Mickey in the vain hope of a Dragon revival next season . Flanagan to my knowledge is only the truly experienced coach available and of course a premiership winning one at that .

There is no doubt that the team requires a hard taskmaster and to me Flanagan fits the bill perfectly . Of course regardless of whom the club signs ( and I am speaking hypothetically here as the chances are that Griffin will be going nowhere )the Dragons will still possess the same board and here within lies the real problem .

Regardless of what the coaching situation is , I fear that the Big Red V shall continue to go round the mulberry bush due to our dithering board , which to my way of thinking is one of the worst in the NRL .

Enjoying the sun on the island of Crete at the moment

watched the highlights a short time ago.

Uninspiring performance.

Our defence remains woeful.

We are an indisciplined stupid team.

If Hunt is insisting His ok remain as coach, it’s time me to withdraw his contract offer. No one player is bigger than the club.

Hi Lovemedragon, I reckon Hunt tried so hard to get us over the line. He was constantly taking the line on to get to the stripe but being covered yesterday. He didn’t play that well though agreed. Contract talks definitely on his mind.

I agree with Hook on one matter; we are pretty decimated with suspensions ( two SOO forwards from the dodgy incident gradings review ) and season ending injuries to strike players.

Also, Sloan not doing much and simply looks skinny and small At the moment. Not death riding him, he was a lower grade prodigious talent And waiting for a breakout.

I look at Sloan's game as more of a confidence booster. Sure, he didn't do much, but what he did was ok, and he had no major stuff-ups. Contrast that to the game against the sharks. A good offseason is needed with some bulking up similar to Cody. Combine this with his natural speed and skills, some confidence, and preferably a better coach, then we can determine whether Sloan has the attributes of being a good first grade footballer.

Agree way too early to tell if Sloan is going to make it. By the end of his current contract we will know.

So where do you get that grade of coach, on E Bay ? Think of Flanagan as interim for say a 2 year contract as there is NOTHING out there and he has experience. As far getting into the heads of the young players , that's the AC's role and this Wolfe that we got from the Gold Coast looks like he has those attributes.
