I hate playing teams coming off a thrashing (much less the biggest loss in the club's history) I think this won't end well at all for us.

Obvious change is Max Fenagi in for Mbye, Sullivan in for McCullough & Fui or Hunt in for Molo.
Max injured?

Guys, no need to panic…the Tiges are a broken club.
Im hearing only 14 players from our top 30 are available to play this weekend. It’s going to be our weakest team fielded in years.
Training run only for you.

I thought Max was injured?

Any suggestion of moving Bird back to the centres is lunacy, easily had his best game in weeks.

And since JDB's ballplaying days are behind him, Bird just makes sense at lock. I actually thought he was pretty dangerous in some of the sweeps, gives us an option at least

Having Bird there for an injury which cant be helped is fine, having him there as a starting center is crazy, any team as we have witnessed before who are in the top 8 would burn bird and make him look ordinary as has happened. We played the titans who couldnt win with 13 vs 12, the Titans made Bird look good.

He was still in a roaming role, you're correct in him defending at centre though

I understand all of that 100% but we are talking about what happened last week and what will happen this week as a result of that.

Bird had a great game mostly occupying playing a roving commission as a centre but there is no doubt that over that last few games Lomax has been also roaming and ending up on the left side to be part of attacking raids.

Hook will weigh it all up in his own inimitable style and take it as a master stroke as we were at our attacking best when we only had 12 men and will not give any credence as to the lack of effort on the Titan's part.

I bet you both of them decided to ignore hook's instructions and just play their natural game.

Not so sure about that.

The last few games there has been some evidence of set plays and changes in attacking structure.

I have noticed a few times where players especially Lomax have gone through a hole but alas the pass / offload didn’t execute properly.

Whilst a long way from perfect or synchronised at least it is better than all the milling around being flat footed.

For me an opportunity to try a few things. Ramsey to centre, Sloan to FB. Bud replaces Macca and J Hunt and Fui added to the forwards
Bud would be the obvious choice, but we are looking for short term loan player to cover Andrew McCullough.... Jake Granville wants some game time before the finals and is the 2nd slowest hooker going around, so he's a perfect fit!
