lol, the Knights are the last team we'll be doing favours for, particularly when you wouldn't lose to the Cowboys and Panthers for us you spoil sports.

You little ripper!!!
We are back, say what you like about Parramatta and their injuries our defence is top notch at the moment and the attack is coming along...

imo we are a good chance of giving this comp a shake now...

179 minutes without conceeding a point, amazing stuff. Last week was too early to call it but I'll say now that the slump is over but I just hope they don't underestimate the Warriors next week.

As happy as i am about the game especially seeing that two weeks in a row we have kept the opposition to nil. I am still worried the Broncos might get ahead of themselves i mean both Bulldogs and Eels were hit hard with injuries. Warriors will be a good team to play before the finals because the will hit us hard and get us in the right mood. Win or loose it is shaping up to be a very good finals series.

Gee i think some people are a bit harsh. I meam, parramatta have won 8 on the trot with this team, bar cayless. We kept them to nill and the bulldogs (who maybe the injuries mattered.) But after today we are back, and just watch the game for proof. A real threat now.

the defence and the effort were awesome. my main concern is still the inabvility to score points. we had both the dogs and parra on the roeps and should ahve scored a lot more. could be a concern if we run into a team that can put some points on us (i.e. melb)

Gould kept making the point that we could pretty much score at anytime we felt like we needed too and i agree with it. We were playing semi final type football against a team that wasn't. Hitting it up hard, making big tackles and defending the line for all its worth, i believe if we wanted to yesterday we could have put a few points on at the same time we would have conceeded some too. Id take 23-0 over 50-16 or something like that at this stage of the season.

Well the Warriors are going to give us an insight in that regard this week, they've won 4 on the trot and are starting to play some expansive football, we certainly won't hold them to nil.

Sure Salivor, but the Eels won 9 on th etrot and the Bulldogs 7, and especially the Eels have been flogging teams :D

I dont think we will hold them scoreless as they also have a big pack to match ours and have been playing fantastic football. But it may be Webcke's last game at Suncorp if we lose, so i am expecting big things.

I certainly think we can win it but I think I read somewhere that the last team to rack up 3 clean sheets in a row was back in 1921. The Warriors are playing well at the moment, for them it'll be Awen Guttinbiel's last match so they'll have plenty of motivation as well and they're also our bogey team. It's going to be a huge challenge on the eve of the finals.

Agreed, Warriors would be in the 8 if it wasn't for the 4 points deducted at the start of the season. They know how to hit hard and are strong. I dont think we will loose but it will be a good test with it being our last regular season game and possably our last game at Suncorp. I've got tickets see if i can get one of those "webke" t-shirts they made to sell at the game. lol
