I still maintain Penrith need a free flowing game. Didn't get it against the raiders and I don't even blame the ref there was a lot of ill discipline. The stop start just kills them and is somewhat contributing to looking bad.

So the question becomes why select him? If a back can't play 80mins then they shouldn't play. We could of used Mav tactically somewhere else not at centre

Alamoti for Laurie. Laurie for Schneider. I like Sommo for Toelau too actually, although it leaves us light on halves cover. Sommo has consistently impressed me, although Toelau had a really good month prior to looking pretty ordinary yesterday.

This is a genuine must win. Lose to the Storm in a tight one? Not ideal but you can live with it. Lose to a desperate Raiders at GIO? Very disappointing but you can potentially explain it away. Losing to this Souths team, at home at this time of year doesn't bear thinking about.
