Well that's it for another year.

About the only thing they improved on was disappointing the fans. McGregor is just totally out of his depth at this level and has absolutely no idea about getting the best performances out of his players. There's some improvement in my opinion in the roster next year but there's no way he's going to be able to take advantage of it.

Thanks for sharing the pain this year with me everyone. It's the one thing that helps me. Knowing there's a bunch of you out there that feel it just as much as me. See you next year.

Wow you sound really butt-hurt. That mustn't feel good man.

None of that anger and shame is going to change anything. We were'nt good enough for the finals...FULL STOP. We tried our best. Their best is not good enough for finals footy today.

We were certainly is a position to win it. 6 points up with 14ish minutes to go.

Thompson got sucked in by a dummy half, we got burnt. Then we just didn't have the energy after to hold them out.

If we were good enough we wouldn't won. The scoreboard doesn't lie. Next year doesn't like too. If we're good enough next year we'll make the finals. Lots of teams don't make the finals. We're in that group.

How much longer are you going to choose to hold on to that anger and shame for?

With respect, aiming for the TOP 4 should be the bare minimum. If we had that attitude, we'd be in a better position overall.

Well on the plus side we are finally out of our misery.

Hopefully we'll be looking forward to a new coach come next season.

Am absolutely copping it by my mates up here in qld that support the Donkeys and Cowboys with text after text.
And even that one Dogs supporter that I still class as a mate is giving it to me big time.
Any advice on a "professional respectful reply.

Too much disappointment and embarrassment for one year, let alone the last 7. The embarrassment side of things never used to be part of being a Dragons fan. I think we are all struggling to accept that we are one of the weaker clubs now. We are all dealing with it in different ways. The bottom line is, it shouldn't be good enough but I suspect, as far as the club are concerned, it will do. The players looked shattered but they shouldn't be surprised. McGregor's teams have never been 80 minute competitors and it was really just a short period that turned that game around.

I think Hunt will bring positive change, but we need to clean out the coaching ranks before anything really turns around. There's not a whole lot to look forward to going into another off season and maybe that is the most painful part of it all.

Yep, brain explosion. He also threw a stupid speculative no-look pass at the other end when a simple ball inside to Widdop would have done. But many of our players lacked composure tonight.

Yeah I noticed that as well. These silly things are holding them back. I don't think enough respect for the dogs was shown tonight. Most of them were playing for contracts.
