I'd go

Edwards
Staines
Tago
Crichton
May
Luai
O'Sullivan
Hopgood
Api
Eisenhuth
Kikau
Martin
Yeo

Kenny
Salmon
Leinu
C.Smith

Martin and Yeo will spend time in the middle but defence structure is better if they play as normal

L.Smith
Blacker aren't quite ready yet

No point risking Sorensen or Fish this week.

Play our structures get the win. Go from there

Pretty much. Knights have far better props than St Merge so that rules out starting Spencer.

Will be fascinating to see who pulls on a Panthers Jersey, and how injuries impact our team.

Afternoon game. Therefore it should be a fast track.

Getting updates from the club (On twitter) about Penrith's cup game.No real details but score are given.

Both Chris Smith and Eddie Blacker have already scored. 21 minutes in.

If To'o, Scott and Fish injured This game and how individual players go, could give us some answers as to the coaches mind.

Hopefully, Api's cousin gets a run next week.

1. Edwards
2. Staines
3. Tago
4. Crichton
5. May
6. Luai
7. O'Sullivan
8. Eisenhuth
9. Korisau
10. Martin
11. Kikau
12. Smith
13. Yeo

14. Salmon
15. Leniu
16. Sorenson
17. Hopgood

If the knights are true to the form of their first game that's a team that probably should get beat to be honest. With those forwards missing the defensive line just won't have that domination our success has been built on, no Cleary kicking game, our backs don't really take chances well, knights should just have too much up front for us.

Need Critter to really look for work.

Yeah I think given the reduced punch up front this might be a game to try Luke as our utility instead of Salmon/Kenny and add some size with Smith.

It was a definite ploy by the Saints to not kick to him and to focus on Staines. This isn't having a go at Staines, but that is what I would do as well if I was devising the game plan.

Thats the total wrong gameplan. Means Edwards then To'o take the first 2 runs.
But that isnt the reality of what happens. Opposition defensive structures have been turning the first few runs back in underneath to keep the play further infield. One of the reasons why Tago has so many runs as he is closer.

Whilst the injuries hurt and no doubt are going to hurt us over the next 6 weeks or so..

Im really excited to see hopgood, l smith and taylan get their oppurtunities..

We are a development club. Alot of these blokes are playing fg already at other clubs but they have been stuck behind premiership winners.

Now is the time we shine as a club.

Whilst hopgood isnt jfh and eiso isnt leota and l smith isnt sorensen. The young kids are ready.

Im confident we can still be competitive.

Losing yeo, api, nath, luai or edwards for long periods is when things will get ugly.

Quite simply, if we want to go back to back those 5 must stay fit for atleast 75% of the season and all the finals.

100% agree. Looking forward to seeing the kids alongside the stars.
