Miller was just an ankle sprain, I'm pretty confident he will play. I like the fact that potter is sticking with the team and not re arranging 7 players to cover one injury. Any news on Sironen? Not sure where we would slot him in but I'd love to see him get a run

As would I, which is why I'd prefer Tedesco at fullback rather than Moltzen. But the point is if Utai has only been replaced due to injury, not due to his poor form under the highball, then he'll slot straight back into the team when fit.

Great start tonight by Jake Miller running the ball having a crack in defence, much better. Had my doubts but happy he is going well

Half time - best I have seen them play in 2 years! Lawrence & Ayshford seem to back to their best. Blair is fantastic. Miller is taking control & looking good. Seumanufugai slotting in well into first grade. Molten needs to give half his pay cheque to Koroibete. Defence has been excellent.

But for me the best thing is that there seems to be multiple attacking options across the park - not just Benji.

Tiger05 isn't the only one who has doubted miller. Plenty of us have, myself included. I just hadn't seen all that much up until this point in both first grade and NYC. Will be happy to eat my words though, he has had a couple of solid games and showed good composure to slot the field goal. Hopefully he continues to improve!

Positives:
Miller - played out of his skin
Anasta had a good game
Fulton tackled with real aggression
Our centres slotted well into attack
Very tight defence in the centre
Benji running more

Negatives
second half fade
Not putting them to the sword
Koro looks like he's done an ankle.

All up, you can only play as well as your opposition lets you, but jesus, we should have had three more tries on them at least.

It seemed premature for people to be screaming for Miller's head off the back of a couple of trial games and Round 1.

Still has plenty to learn , and needs to get involved more but appears to be adding something. Like I have said, I can't see any other option at 7 this year so lets hope he is the answer.

We lacked go forward when Koro went off. He is certainly needed on the field.
