you may not agree with me but i may have the solution to our bad starts to the game. First sam parret has to go back to premier league and put micheal lett in. Forst reason sam parrett cant defend and his attack this year has been average. Micheal Lett is a much better defender and from last years performances a better attacker as well. also they cant start finch at hooker, finch isnt a hooker...he cant play hooker....they have to put wing in the starting side or if they want wing as an impact player after 20 minutes then start finch as five eighth and anasta at lock and put harrison at the starting hooker. Harrison has practiced his hooker skills during the off season and i think its worth a try.

also not sure that canberra losing 70-32 or whatever it was to newcastle was a good thing for the roosters...but what can we do.

i would like to hear your opionion about this subject and also how is mark edmonson going in premier league

I think the problem is more attitude to the ball. We didn't respect it and we didn't against Souths. A tube of Grippo may help.

I thought Finch went ok compared to some of the other players - worth keeping. Also the size of our forwards wasn't all that big and the busts that melbourne were making were downright embarrassing.

But lets not sell melbourne short - they played well and we could learn a bit from the game. I wonder if Anasta to the lock and Harrison to second row may be useful.

In conclusion our bloody handling was horrid and I hung my head in shame when Shackleton knocked on from dumby half...

Quite a few people seem to be laying too much blame on Finch no matter where he play. He is not the problem, but other guys as well. Look at the drop ball, lapse in concentration, wrong options. They are all to blame. They are not doing what they were in 03, 04. Back to basics, and start with your completion rates. They have alot of talent, its a damn shame they constantly let themselves down.
Anasta had gone AWOL today.. he needs to step up.

I agree that people shouldn't always look to Finch as a scapegoat after a loss. There were some players out there that had a poor game.

Wing was suspect in defence all day. He must have had footprints all over his chest. Uncharacteristic display from Mini but everyone is entitiled to an off day.

The result was flattering considering the completion rates and field position they had. I'm sure they can improve on that performance to beat the Raiders.

Should be a good turn out of Raiders Fans on sunday, we got some coming up and then theres the Sydney based ones.

Will be a good match. both teams have a lot to prove

Comrade Finch went okay and was not responsible for the loss - Anasta's groin is a concern as he may have to rest it soon or face the prospect of an operation like Freddy.

The man behind me in bay 14 queries why Fitzy is playing front row when he isn't one and why Stuart doesn't start with Toops and Shillington up front with Fitzy and Harrison in the second row and Flanners at lock as he thinks that Flanners is not a second rower and is best suited to lock . Have the bench as Tonga, Paea or Meredith, Plum or Shacks and Wing or Finch he thinks whilst Morley is out.

The players were flat and so was the crowd yesterday for most of the match the same as the jersey flegg game.

The only problem with Perrett is he has watched too many tapes of Hodges and Hegarty from 2004. We need a Forrest Gump esque thing where we have a big arrow showing which way he should run.

Where you guys will win this game is through the centres.

If Graham and Zillman are in the centres for us Soliola and Cross will cut them to ribbons. Hopefully Howell and Frawley will be there, they have size and can tackle at least.

I think Soliola has a tonne of potential, but something just does not seem right with the guy & I'm hoping he has a big year.

Ryan Cross, well the kids on fire.. one of the best centres going around.

Speaking off entitlements to off day, lets hope we dont have too many.. ala last year...
