Round 4 2016 vs Warriors Game Discussion

We've done so well but unfortunately I think we've lost the game in this bit leading up to half time. We should hsve scored a third but our structure and skill let us down, and then the constant flow of penalties inevitably hurt us.

I feel the Warriors will be too good now, but of we could hsve just got it to 18-6.

It's our game for the taking if we start converting some of these half chances we are getting and stop giving away penalties.

I can really see the warriors going on with this. Im not sure we will be able to keep up with them in the second half.

Impressive against a desperate side. Where has this been the first two weeks? We look like a side who can go with anybody.

With the talent and experience in the side I think we saw a fair effort in that half.

Going with anybody? This is a train wreck of a warriors side who will have their coach sacked in the next 40 minutes.

Whatever happens from here that half is a real credit to Brown. What intensity from the forwards, anf getting something special out of youth and guys like Mataora who have never played better.

Outstanding service from Levi. Our weakness is clearly in the backs, which it was even before the injuries / suspension. Very little class in Mamo, Pat, Ross and Denniss. They're not going to create anything and they are a weak link in defence and general football smarts. It's a shame because we're so close to an upset here, it's there, but one feels we needed to build our lead to have a proper chance.

Anyway good stuff Brownie and well played most of the team. I see improvement and it's hard to ask for much more

We're holding our own through the middle but offloads and penalties arr killing us....that being said at least 4 of the penalties were ridiculous.

And Mamo sucks.

Half time couldn't have waited any longer. Hopefully it helps diminish their momentum and Browny can get us out there fired up like last week.

I'm actually feeling pretty confident after that first half. We lost our way a bit at the end but for the most part we were good. How good has Mataora been this season?

Yeah I think they will put us away now sadly. We had to score during that decent spell, around when Mamo was sucking it up and couldn't force the dropout from Mullen's kick.

It felt like s turning point that instead of getting to a 12 point lead when we had the chances, we handed them back momentum with more penalties.
