It was just like watching last nights game. We missed 3 goals, we missed 2 FG, Manly completed <60% they were out on their feet and we just couldn’t ice it. Super frustrating.

That's the worst game I have seen Reynolds play, every time the ball got to him in the back line he just froze, he is so slow, I think things would go better if Cody Walker had a lot more ball.

I admit that Johnston is more prepared to put his body on the line now but once again he was unable to stop Tjoavich (?). He so reminds of Caplin (?) a previous Souths fullback who just always turned up late, just little bit, I think we sold him to the Titans where his son now plays, I think.
Anybody remember Caplin, maybe I got his name wrong?

My takes from the game:

Adam Reynolds lost us that game. Not just his bad kicking but his poor option in general play too. Was a woeful performance by him

The 2 Manly tries any world class full back would have stopped but AJ couldn’t with poor defence

Gagan isn’t up to 1st grade

Twins look to be going back to their old ways with poor ball handling

Thought Nichols had one of his best games for Souths so far

Only Cody and Sam looked bothered at times

Also I had a thought today that GI is taking a million dollars out for the salary cap. Look I love GI and he was a great player but a million dollars for a player who either doesn’t play or when he does nowadays is non existent has got to hurt a team!

Stopped Trbojevic in space early in the half and for the try did as well as any NRL FB would to hold up Trbojevic one on one but was let down by a lack of urgency and awareness by Gagai who made no attempt to prevent the grounding of the ball.
