Paea, according to the offical Website has been named as a reserve to cover any injuries so no doubt we will see him in the Newton Jets side.

Well what can be said, Ricky I'm afraid has a few problem, which may result into some rather large ones if not fixed quick.
What happened out there? Seems the boys just lost heart in the second half.
Anasta, so far rates the worst buy of 2006 & Soward, well I am yet convinced he is what we need at half back. Apart from his kicking games he lacks attacking flair & his defence is shocking. The Anasta/Soward half combination is just not working.
We should never have let them back in the game the second time, but as it goes statistically (one win one loss sequence) we should have a win this week.
One very disappointed fan.

Is it just me or does anyone else agree??

The forwards were the problem in the second half -soward had no hope with the pack basically being dominated - Morley was the best on ground for the Roosters though

The club has one prop in Morley and 2 others in Fitzy and Toops who are second rowers - Shillington has to stand up and be a first grade prop - Plum and Shacks are also second rower's.

Maybe it's time to give Tonga a run in 1st Grade - i think Edmondson is not ready at this stage for 1st Grade and in any case seems suited to second row.

A lot of work to do in both attack/defence and attitute.

They have to play close to 80 minutes of football as they can. The game has peaks and troughs and the team must be resilient during the troughs and capitalise during the peak time's of a game or they will not make the 8.

I agree with Stalin's views.. Little aggression from the pack... It was like they were playing touch footy..thinking they could outscore Manly.. When Manly forwards upped the ante.. the fowards didn't answer the challange.

I would keep the same forwards for another week and Shillington should be told he is on his last chance.

Atleast this year we are looking dangerous in attack compared to last year.

Screw Finch, he is useless. Mr T deserves a go, Shackleton has impressed me lately. Plum needs to work on his lacklustre running game to match his brilliant defense, & Shillington needs to increase his workload. Fitzgibbon is back running with pace & verve, & should be back in the second row. Not convinced on big Sia or Perrett either, & Flanno, with the exception of that beauty pass, has been very quiet.
